Are we talking about a Tupuxuara repaint? I'm really hoping it won't need it. If anything, i'd get my Tyrannosaurus maquette repainted, since it's my favorite so far. The Apatosaurus could change that.

Any of them really...I wouldn't mind having the Carno redone..or at least touched up more...can you imagine these pieces with tiny glass eyes? Talk about bumping it up another level.

Lucky you. I'm unfortunately a collector of Alien, Predator, Terminator, District 9, Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter, and many Anime collectables. I've put most of that on hold, to collect mostly Dinosaur collectables. If it wasn't for you and Dan, I wouldn't have found out about alot of these awesome Dinosaur kits.....Thanks alot.

I bought the HP Horntail Dragon statue and I have a large Fellbeast I wouldn't mind getting rid off..interested ? I believe I'm going to need to make room for Smaug when the Hobbit part 2 comes out. heh heh

Same here Agent. Although I didn't get the exclusives of the first two pieces. If I had been patient, I could have gotten on the waitlist. It would have converted, and i'd be able to say I have every exclusive piece. Anybody want to sell me their Triceratops and Carnotaurus skulls?

I think I noticed an exclusive Carnotaurus go for over $300 on eBay a few weeks ago. Not too shabby, considering it's only about a year old.

How many Battats do you still need Dan ? New for old only works if your a store Dan... lol Most of us don't have the inventory to sell new to collect old.. heh heh

I love my Dinostoreus skulls way better than the Sideshow exclusives, but I still like having multiple representations of different skulls.I have both the 1/10 Triceratops, and 1/10 Tyrannosaurus Rex skulls but I still want the 1/4 representations.

I'd love to get a nice 1/1 Allosaurus skull for my collection..but they are pretty pricey as well.

I bought a set of those Safari Dinosaur skulls in the toob and they worked fine for several of the pieces.

I was told by Sideshow that the Tupuxuara was slated for this month but has been pushed back and they would keep me updated...great.

I'm starting to get the shakes a bit..I need a fix..a moderate sized piece of a dino relative would help alleviate my discomfort.. if only they'd get the bloody thing out already !

Dan if you get your free Apatosaurus make sure you bargain for the rest of us..we at least want a discount ! ;D

You have any interesting locations in mind? It's very flat where I live, no rocky cliff sides or nuthin'.

You know, if you can find just the right clay embankment that would work well...but really any piles of weathered granite could be good. Then a little photoshop work for a background..should be all set.

I was planning to do a river scene, since the beach is a little farther than i'd like to go. I need to go location scouting for a good spot, as there are tons of picturesque locations along the river. Plenty of rocky formations to use for background/foreground and inbetween.

I hadn't considered the beach... I live only ten minutes from one. Granted, that tourist-infested tract of land is the last place I would take a Sideshow statue. Plus it might be hard to get a photo without some stupid Dairy Queen in the background.

I had thought about going to the beach at first, seeing as how the Tupuxuara isn't that big a statue. I tried looking for info on any good rocky formations on the East coast, and all I got were forums with people saying how nice it is that we don't have rocky beaches.

Then the other day I thought about our local rivers, and how they were full of rocky places. I just need to find a spot devoid of any man made obstructions.
