TV ads on DVDs?!?

Personally, I'm for anti-smoking TVs. The reception is far superior and it's so much easier to breathe while watching.

That almost encourages "backing up" DVD's (ripitforme) where all that garbage can be stripped out. Shove that commercial BS down the consumer's throat on something they purchased, and there will be a backlash.

Watching commercials in theatres is a pet peev (sp???) of mine. Unless it's a great commercial with high production value (like a short movie clip), then I don't mind so much. But any regular old commercial i've already seen 40 times on TV shouldn't be allowed in movies.

You want to know what's f'n wierd....and maybe they are doing it other places as well...whenever we have a full moon (or a moon almost full) they project advertisements (like a billboard) onto it. That is just BLOODY F'N WRONG!!! I want to look at the pretty moon not some picture of a Starbucks coffee mug.

I might be high and hallucinating from flouride........I've only seen it twice....well keep an eye out the next time we have a fullish size moon and see if it happens again.

I have the Fullmetal Alchemist sets and I bought what I thought was the first season of Deathnote. Both interminable, unskippable trailers for other stuff.

Nope, my copy was bought at Wal Mart and was brand-spankin' new.
