I'm thinking about getting this. Where are you going to be getting your's from? Alot of places are holding midnight parties.

Yeah I pre-ordered mine for in store pickup at best buy tomorrow. I didn't want the bluray to sell out.

This one isn't released until May.

Not sure if the link will work, check their weekly ad.

Looks like all the rest will just have regular releases. Nothing special. Walmart does have in-store only exclusives from time to time that they don't list on their site.

I just saw that you can get this On Demand at midnight tonight. If I wasn't exhausted I'd probably watch it. I'm curious enough, I'll probably check it out over the weekend.

I'd like to get the Target one, but the nearest one to me is 50 miles away and I don't want to drive that far just for that.Of course you can't order it online either. I guess I'll have to get the Amazon gift set since I'm sure a girl! :lol

I know it's kinda taboo, but I saw this. My wife is *really* into it, and I figured "It's vampires. How bad could it be?"

The answer: Not too bad at all.

I got pretty bored during the first half of the movie which was basically just some teenage girl fawning over some teenage boy. Once you learn about the vampires and such, it gets more interesting.

Aside from the lead actress' overacting, I thought the acting was good.

I really don't understand why this movie is the punching bag that it is... :dunno

I went to Wal-Mart last night, and they had a huge display for it. . .in the clothing section. There were all kinds of Twilight t-shirts and other clothes, a huge DVD display, and a huge display (again, in the clothing section) with Doritos and Mountain Dew/Pepsi products (?). A truly impressive merchandising blitz for this thing.

I haven't seen the movie, and never will, but I'm guessing that vampires live off blood and Doritos/Mountain Dew?

Thank you for at least giving it a chance and posting your honest feedback. :clap

Most people bash it because they refuse to give it a chance and most haven't even seen the movie or read the book. I don't understand how you can judge something that you haven't experienced.

That's how it is by me too. Except, it's not just the clothing section, it's the lingerie section. wtf? :lol

One stop shopping for your posters, "Team Edward" t-shirts, panties, and doritos.

Anything that appeals to the younger ones doesn't always get alot of respect. I know alot of adults who read the books. I might get into them too once I finish the book I'm on now (I'm reading The Hobbit which I haven't since I was a child).

Should I read the book first or see the movie first, which would be better?

I would recommend reading the book and then seeing the movie.

Watched it last night... I read the first two books earlier in the year, but the 2nd one was so boring I gave up on the series.

The film was okay, but felt like they tried to force things together too quickly (book is too slow, film is too fast) and overall felt more like a made-for-TV effort than something released in the theaters. It wasn't terrible, but still not anything noteworthy either.

Yeah the second book was really dry in the middle. It picked up in the end though. I still haven't read the 3rd and 4th.
