I can't wait to see it in person, and from the looks of these in-hand pictures, it may very well be my favorite in the line at this point.

Based on these pics, I would agree; that is until the deinosuchus ships!

I have a shop in Germany and i have it too. Nobody really knows why we have these first. Funny thing is, we still not have the Carnotaurus... lol

I think I can explain that. According to the local retailers & model kits/collectibles distributors in our country, the T. rex maquette was shipped directly from China to stores worldwide before shipping them to Sideshow HQ, and in case of the Carnotaurus maquette, it's the opposite situation.

That would make sense. I suppose we can't really complain since usually we get everything first and the other countries customers have to wait a really long time.

Hm, that is an unusual way of staggering distribution. At least the wait shouldn't be much longer, now.

I certainly hope the wait isn't too much longer, but the "shipping from retailers directly from China" business is bizarre. It's even less incentive to order directly from SS if consumers can get the regular editions cheaper from other retailers with the same expediency. I wonder why the switch from the Carno shipment.

My local retailer got their shipment in a couple of days ago. They didn't have the previous releases from the Dinosauria line such as the T.Rex/Triceratop Dio and Carnotauraus so it seems strange to me that they got their T.Rex shipment way before SSC.

And they are offering it to me at around US$180 each for the regular version. I am still on the fence about buying it from them but I will be dropping by their shop tomorrow morning after church service to take a look at this T.Rex statue. Looks like I may just splash out the cash for it.
