Ryo Chonan was brought in mainly to see if he could work his way up to Silva. Loiseau because he's been ok in his past couple of fights and has a lot of Canadian friends in the UFC. McDonald is going downhill IMO. David needs to stay away from the UFC. I mean he tapped out from strikes then got up and acted like he wasn't hurt.

I'm so sick of Dana White bashing fighters, recently Arona, just like Fedor. They say Fedor should sign becuase they can make him an instant House Hold name, the guys already an icon in Russia and mostly everywhere overseas, I'm so glad he didnt sign with the UFC. The UFC is turining into the WWE. Dana White should keep his mouth shut. I'm sure we all heard him bash Loretta Hunt, he's such an a-hole. I did actually meet him and he was cool. I'm just sick of it.

Stop exaggerating, seriously. Fedor is big in Russia and Japan. That's it. Big deal. That's not "mostly overseas" by any means and to put it in perspective: Bob Sapp is more popular in Japan, like I've said before.

Bottomline: Fedor is still considered an unknown in the U.S. and if he wasn't fighting in the U.S. yeah that wouldn't matter. But he IS fighting here with Affliction. So obviously fighting here is something that Fedor WANTS to do. And there's no denying that if Fedor signed with the UFC he would get more exposure and more fame then by fighting in Affliction that's on it's last legs, consistenly losing money every show. Look at EliteXC and the IFL: you can only lose money for so long.

Decent Poster.

100 kicks so much ass. Each of the big three fights could have been an individual main event.

That poster is awesome, I like the mini posters in the background.

Aoki doesn't suck.. and for that matter neither does Fedor. If you think that's what I'm saying you're dead wrong NASEDO. Do I think Shinya Aoki would do anything significant in the UFC LW division? Nope. Do I think Fedor is SIGNIFICANTLY overrated? Hell to the Yes.

:rolleyes::rolleyes:Everyone knows that if Ryo would have started doing good that they would have made it happen to where he fights Anderson Silva. Just like Marvin Eastman vs Rampage.

Like how they hooked up that rematch between A.Silva and Okami? Oh wait..

Nah I see what you're saying though. :lol

Damn, there was two fights? I watched that one American dude get his teeth knocked out. Karma for his excessive celebration in his first fight imo.

Next week there's 2 fights as well. 3 weeks in a row now. And yeah.. that dude deserved it. It's funny: you can almost always tell who's going to lose because they tend to show excessive amounts of smack talking from them, I guess to make seeing them destroyed more enjoyable. :D

Loved all his little phantom elbows and punches in the house/gym BEFORE the fight.. didn't see any of those in his ACTUAL fight though. :lol

Yeah.. especially in the prelims (!?) or the fights to get INTO the house the entire UK cast (even the guys who didn't make the cut) were more impressive. But last season is a good indication that it doesn't matter how good a team starts off.. all that matters is the end. And last season NONE of Mir's LW's made it to the finals and Mir's LHW Vinny got destroyed by Bader. Same thing happened with Hughes vs. Serra: Serra's team dominated but in the end NONE of his fighters made it to the finals. So who knows.

Yea I saw that one Dollar dominated that fight. He got it to the ground at it was all over from there. Stapes look lost on the ground. I was suprised how quick the fight was also.

The second fight was cool also.
