Here's my reasoning bro. I never liked BJ fighting at welterweight. He is simply unbeatable at lightweight. Look what he did to Sherk and Pulver at lightweight Florian is gonna get more of that BJ PENN and it won't be pretty. I don't gamble so you will have to lose your money to sombody else. After his embarrassing loss the GSP do really think Florian is gonna get that PENN... Oh hell no.

That sounds good....I am a BJ fan too man, BUT BJ seems to be loosing a step, which is why I say he will loose to Kenny....But these are all just predictions, we will see ehat happens at UFC 101....

The only step he lost was thinking he could waltz his way into GSPs world after dominating the lightweight division. That was a mistake on BJs part. Since he wooped GSPs ass and got robbed in their first fight he took him for granted the second time and paid dearly for it as we all witnessed. BELIEVE me he will not do that with Kenny Florian. I think BJ wanted to see exactly how much a man could bleed before he couldn't fight anymore I hope you're not comparing their Jiu Jitsu skills BJ is on another planet bro. I also like BJs stand up compared to Kenny's.

u actually think though that pulver was any kind of match for BJ or any LW fighter in the UFC ..........hes been on the downslide for years, and i didnt consider that matchup to even be close, BJ hasnt beaten enough great fighters to b considered unbeatable, he has to beat guys like florian, sanchez, and possibly faber if he moves up for me to give him any props. correct me if im wrong, but hasnt he only defended the title once?

Actually BJ beat Joe in under 2 rounds. But it was close to getting stopped by the doctor in Round 1.

Why cant Silva honor America, why does it have to be Forrest, what did you mean by that?

I was brought up like that, it's not that i don't like Silva it's just that i always cheer for the American, plus i like Forrest better. Some people are just more patriotic.

I think Pulver started going downhill after Joe Lauzon KO'ed him. His move to 145 lbs. was pure desperation, and you can see it didn't matter. He just can't compete in either weight class. So I agree with azurepred, a win against Pulver ain't nothing to write home about.

Sherk is Penn's biggest win at LW in YEARS imo. And that's because Sherk magically decided he was a boxer in that fight.

I think it'll be a good fight. I'm anxious to see how B.J. has recovered mentally from the ass whoopin' GSP gave him. Behind the scenes, I think that fight brought B.J. down to Earth and imo that's why dude pushed so hard for an inquiry: because the alternative would've been to admit he got absolutely destroyed. So that might factor in with the Florian fight. I think either guy has a shot of winning. And YES I think Florian could submit Penn. Technically. Because knowing Penn, he wouldn't tap out. I think Penn will pull it off though.. All depends if Kenny suddenly pulls a Sherk and wants to ONLY box.

yessir. BJ Penn is still one of my favorite fighters. hopefully he can pull it off and get back on to winning.

It's a really good question if BJ can come back from talking all that ^^^^ and then getting his ass beat. Florian will win IMO unless the best BJ comes. To tell the truth i wasn't impressed with BJ against Sherk at all. He looked tired and ecspecially when he put Sherk away, after he was like hugging Big John just to stay on his feet.
