That was ridiculous. I'm so ^^^^ing jacked right now. The heavyweight fights really delivered. Barnett/Rizzo started out a bit slow, but that's to be expected considering their styles. Then BAM! Brutal finish. Arlovski/Rothwell was a damn good fight as well. AA showed that killer instinct of old, and Ben showed a ^^^^ing granite chin. Props to him.

Yeah, Josh was awesome looking at the end of his fight with Pedro. He definitely brought it during that fight.

And WTF was up with Tim. I thought he would put up a bit more to fight than that. Getting choked out when the round has barely started??!! That's just sad!

It took Couture 25 minutes to win a unanimous decision over Silvia. It took Fedor 36 seconds to destroy him. I know styles make fight's, but does anybody really think Couture has a chance against Fedor

Gotta say the Affiction Banned event was fantastic, while the UFC's Fight Night was nothing more than a last minute attempt to steal some of Affliction's thunder. Note to the UFC...it didn't work!

No, Arlovski fulfilled his contract. On his last fight, he was put in the untelevised prelims. You gotta love that bull^^^^. AA has implied that he is still on good terms with the UFC, but I doubt he plans on returning there anytime soon. There are plenty of big fights for him now. It's ridiculous to think of all the HW talent outside the UFC: Fedor, Barnett, Arlovski, Kharitonov, Couture, Aleksander, Hunt, Cro Cop, (Antonio) Silva, Overeem. Oh, and Sylvia.

Yeah, you are correct about that. It's always easier to treat your employee's like ^^^^ when you have a monopoly like the UFC does, but thankfully those days appear to be coming to an end.
