Yeah especially since he dropped both PRIDE titles back to back. Those were his two biggest name opponents in the UFC since his return and he lost to Rampage by Unanimous Decision and to A.Silva by submission. Beating Michael Bisping by KO, Rich Franklin by Split Decision and Rousimar Palhares by Unanimous Decision ain't all that impressive. Seriously. I think he makes enough as is. Maybe if he went on a tear and became MW or LHW champ.. THEN I could see him asking for more money. But now!? Nah.

Hendo is still one of the top 5 MW out there, I'll be surprised if the UFC lets him go. Especially with Strike Force trying to build its rosters. They also just signed King Mo.

But Anderson Silva just had elbow surgery, so if all heals well he said he'll fight anybody. But theres a possibility he may need to withdraw from the Vitor fight if the elbow needs more time.

That fight will happen. Dana put way to much stock into Vitor. It might not be at 108 though, Silva just had surgery.

That is correct. Silva is curently undergoing physical therapy on his elbow. He has the contracts, but is not going to sign until he knows he'll be ready for the fight.

Thanks. I love the design on it, but the color is kind of crazy. Definitely only something I'll be wearing when I watch Machida fights. If you like the design it will be available in White and also a Turquoise sometime next month.

Seemed like a lot of people weighed in overweight. Getting excited for the fights tomorow.

On another note it was announced that Ricardo Almeida blew his knee out and will not be facing Jon Fitch. Thiago Alves will be Fitch's new opponent and the bout will take place at 107. This will be a rematch that happened a while back that Fitch won by TKO (I think).

If Fitch wins he should only have to fight one more time to get another title shot. We will also see Thiago's takedown defense against a really good wrestler (GSP has his own category). I see Fitch being durable in standup and eventually grinding this fight out similar to GSP did to Alves. Another boring fight because of Fitch I predict but I hope I'm wrong.

He didn't give GSP a "hard time" in their first fight.

I think the winner of Swick/Hardy should get the next shot. I wanna see GSP fight someone new and both Swick and Hardy are on winning streaks in the WW division (4-0 for Swick and 6-0 for Hardy). It's like Anderson Silva: everyone wanted him to rematch Hendo or Marquardt but I'm glad he's fighting Belfort (someone new for A.Silva). I don't think Thiago or Fitch have done anything significant or beaten anyone significant since their losses to GSP to deserve another title shot tbh.

Also there's a new Gracie in the UFC. First since Royce.
