The shields vs miller fight was really boring. Fedor really made up for the lackluster performance by Shields though. I still say UFC fight nights are the better than strikeforce and free UFC cards.

No kidding. I thought the whole thing was a freaking joke. When Miller was walking to the ring...he had cheerleaders and pyro??? WTF?? I thought it was MMA not WCW crap. And both those guys were fighting like girls.... did it really say Miller's fighting style was "Slap Boxing??" As in the kind of slap boxing I used to play in middle school????

He bleeds A LOT actually. Even Matt Lindland opened him up. That's one of the biggest problems he'd have in the UFC even against mediocre guys: Elbows are legal. One jab opened up Fedor bad last night. Now imagine the top position Bret Rogers briefly had in the first round and replace him with someone with better ground control (who knows how to utilize the cage) + GNP + elbows like a Brock Lesnar or Randy Couture. That's a problem, despite what WASEDO might say.

In all honesty, I thought the Strikeforce card sucked. Best fight was Fedor and Bret. And even then, Fedor looked mediocre.

Fedor won yes, but did not look like the BEST IN THE WORLD against a guy with 9 fights. He actually looked bad imo. With the rep he carries around he should have went in there and DESTROYED a rookie like rogers.

And Shields sucks ass, I wanted Miller to crush his face.

Agreed the SF card sucked bad, I switched it off at times to watch hockey. The whole set up was terrible and aside from Mauro the commentators especially Shamrock are garbage. This experiment will fail miserably just like elite XC

Have you never watched MMA from Japan? Almost everyone over there has some type of entrance. And considering most of Miller's fights have been in Japan, I was not surprised to see some sort of entrance from him. Hell, the entrance was more entertaining than the fight, lol.

thats cause they have nothin but B class fighters You think Shields or Miller could be in title contention for MW or even WW in the UFC? I dont think so, but god those strikeforce announcers are on Fedors sack big time. I think Brock could roll Fedor easily, in fact I think a handful of UFC HW guys have a good chance to beat fedor. Whats up with champions and their non title fights on strikeforce too? If your the champ, and yur fighting, why is it not a title fight? Thats stupid!

It's not just Strikeforce. PRIDE FC did it A LOT: Gomi had 4 non-title fights as PRIDE FC LW champion. And even got choked the F' out by Marcus Aurelio as champ. Fedor had 3 non-title fights as PRIDE FC HW champion. Etc.

Sengoku does it as well. Last night at Sengoku “Eleventh Battle” Jorge Santiago (Sengoku MW Champion) got (T)KO'ed in a non-title fight.

I've never understood it either because seriously, why would you even want a title or feel honored to call yourself champ when you lost!?

Anderson Silva was pissed when Travis Lutter missed weight and he didn't get credit for that title defense. That's how it should be. iunno.. guess some fighters don't care and just wanna hold onto their belts!?

Loved the free card, Mousasi looked good again. Rogers came to fight and made it a good one, gotta give Fedor credit for destroying such a big guy, who is about the same size as Lesner. I liked this show better then the last UFC card, but who cares. Noobs will always hate Fedor becuase he's not in the UFC, never understood it. I'm just glad to see a good fight for free. Thanks Nash for posting that awesome Fedor shirt, just ordered me one.

And!? Who cares if they're about the same size!? They're completely different fighters.

Noobs will always hate Fedor becuase he's not in the UFC, never understood it.

I guarantee most of the people that dislike Fedor do so because:

1. His annoying fans who blindly worship him.

2. The hype he gets, even when fighting cans.

3. The "Fedor Double Standard". Hong Man Choi = 0 - 1 MMA Can before fighting Fedor. After being announced as Fedor's opponent suddenly HMC is the biggest test and biggest threat to ever walk the Earth when it comes to MMA and Fedor.

4. His lack of credible/Ranked HW opponents in recent years. The gap between Fedor's fight with Mirko Cro Cop and his fight with Tim Sylvia was a month shy of 3 years.

5. He surrounds himself with complete ****** bags like Vadim "Co-Promotion Leech" Finklestien and Gary "Jerry" Millen.

I enjoy watching Fedor fight. I like Fedor. Unfortunately it's outside forces that make me give off the impression that I don't.
