Last night's undercard was meh, but the main event was pretty exciting. Can't say I'm surprised by any of that show.

I didn't get to hear any of the show on account of being at a bar. Can anyone sum up what Fedor and Rogers had to say post fight?

The post-fight interviewer asked Fedor if he would be willing to give Rogers a rematch. He said through his transalator, "If he would like a rematch. Sure. I'll do it" When Rogers was asked how he felt, he basically ?????ed and moaned and said he was disappointed in himself for those 3 seconds it took Fedor to beat him. He said he wants a rematch and that Fedor will be the one on his back next time..When Fedor was asked about the rematch, he responded very calmly, as opposed to Rogers, who acted like if he'd been robbed of the fight or something...

Thanks dude. Rogers looked pissed, I figured he was claiming early stoppage...

Nah, he never complained about the stoppage. I think he was more pissed that he got "caught" and KO'd. Him being pissed was understandable. Afterall, he took it to the supposed "best in the world" in the first round and was way to apprehensive in the 2nd round.

Have you never watched MMA from Japan? Almost everyone over there has some type of entrance. And considering most of Miller's fights have been in Japan, I was not surprised to see some sort of entrance from him. Hell, the entrance was more entertaining than the fight, lol.

I have, but not in a long time and usually don't pay attention until the guys are in the ring. It was funny because my GF looked at me with a WTF look on her face. We both started chuckling as the dude was dancing his goofy arse towards the ring only to be the lamest fight I've seen since Kimbo got KO'd by the dude with pink hair.

 And!? Who cares if they're about the same size!? They're completely different fighters.

I guarantee most of the people that dislike Fedor do so because:

1. His annoying fans who blindly worship him.

2. The hype he gets, even when fighting cans.

3. The "Fedor Double Standard". Hong Man Choi = 0 - 1 MMA Can before fighting Fedor. After being announced as Fedor's opponent suddenly HMC is the biggest test and biggest threat to ever walk the Earth when it comes to MMA and Fedor.

4. His lack of credible/Ranked HW opponents in recent years. The gap between Fedor's fight with Mirko Cro Cop and his fight with Tim Sylvia was a month shy of 3 years.

5. He surrounds himself with complete ****** bags like Vadim "Co-Promotion Leech" Finklestien and Gary "Jerry" Millen.

I enjoy watching Fedor fight. I like Fedor. Unfortunately it's outside forces that make me give off the impression that I don't.

:lecture :lecture Except that I'm one of those guys that still thinks Fedor is awesome regardless. I don't worship him, but I like to argue that he would be pretty good in the UFC.

The problem is you worship the UFC & Lesner, a guy with 5 fights. I guess your a WWE fan. And who should Fedor have fought in his so called 3 year span???? He never ducked any fighter. He beat basically every HW accept Couture. He always out sized. Did you see his skill during the Rogers fight?? He went for the Kamura, Arm Bar, but the KO power came thru and a well timed accurate punch. Fedor has a 25+ win streak, which is insane in MMA, it will never happen again.

But you really should join the UG forum. Just scroll down the threads on the left.

Thats one crazy shot.

Skill? To unsuccessfully attempt a submission maneuver is now considered skill? And some would say that Rogers got "caught" with the KO punch. I'm sure if the tables had been turned EVERYONE would be saying Fedor got "caught."

IMO, it was an unimpressive win by Fedor over a bigger opponent with little experience (9 prior fights). But a win nonetheless...and the mythos continues.:lol

I was impressed. His ability to come back from dangerous positions is what makes Fedor so fun to watch imo.

If he had knocked Rogers out in the first people would be complaining about it being a fix...ala Silva vs Griffin.

I don't know about a fix, but it wouldn't have been impressive; I don't think many would be saying more than "so what, he beat a man with less than 10 professional fights, what should he have done?" It really is a catch 22; he either gets no real credit, or he isn't as good as everyone once thought.

Its easy to see if you look at past history of opponents. who has Rogers really fought that was a really great opponent before Fedor?

Going 9-0 or 10-0 against nobodies isnt saying much imo.

That's how fighting works though. As a promotor you have to take the chance of putting a guy who could have an "inflated" record against the champ. The UFC is doing the exact same thing with Carwin.

FEDOR, once again proved why he is the best fighter on the world.

impressed, unimpressed ... dude deserves respect. He knocked out a mountain of a man who has made a short career in knocking people out.

Love em ... hate em ... he is the BEST FIGHTER in the WORLD and we will NEVER see another fighter like him.

Do you work for CBS :lol

All jokes aside, he was impressive, best in the world... beat a UFC title holder than you can crown him king

this debate has been ongoing @ MMAJUNKIE for years and i really don't feel like bringing it over here.

but....

if you told me i had to bet ... (I am not a betting man, i never like to bet) ... on Fedor vs Brock (or Carwin or Dos Santos or Velasquez or Gonzaga) ... i'd bet Fedor everytime.

100% agreed, the UFC means nothing to his Legacy. Plus Brock only has 5 fights so I guess he's a noob just like Rogers. So why should Fedor fight Brock.

everyone will always call fedor p???y until he beats a UFC great. Fact UFC top fighters> everyone elses top fighters. BTW-Couture is hands down best ever imo, much more impressive fighting history than fedor, its not even close.

Maybe not, but he was beating the crap out of Fedor for most of round one. He threw a lazy punch and got KTFO. I give Rogers a lot of credit, he did a lot better than I expected and managed to get out of the first round. What's next for Fedor, Fabricio Werdum? I can't say I'm terribly excited for that fight either.

As far as Mayhem / Shields - boooororrrrrrrinnnnnnggggggg. Why did the commentators keep mentioning Shield's ju jitsu when all he did was lay and pray? Another boring wrestler. Granted he kept dominant position, but did nothing while on top. I wouldn't have been surprised if they gave Mayhem the decision if this fight was fought in Japan.

Damn. I thought I was a Couture fan boy.:lol

I think Randy is by far the greatest ambassador for the sport, but no where near the greatest fighter ever.
