I wonder if the outdoor setting will affect the fighters at all. The other weird thing is when it's going to be shown here in the states: LIVE 10am PST/1pm EST. There's a video on YouTube that shows what the final stadium (theme park!?) will look like in Abu Dhabi. Looks crazy.

Honestly.. unless Kimbo takes it to the ground and submits Mitrione (like he did with Ray Mercer) I can seriously see Kimbo getting KTFO.

I would defn refuse to fight outdoors just based on the fact that i have bad allergies around this time period. Is Matt really that superior to Kimbo standing up though? I know Matt KO'd Darkness, but anyone could have done that, he has really good stand up and I would pick Matt to win that fight, but I dont know if he has dominating stand up.

Not really better. My point was he has KO power, regardless of how good or bad of a fighter he is (I think he sucks personally ). And Kimbo got knocked silly from a straight left jab which led to his first loss (TKO).

I hear what your saying, I just dont see Kimbo lasting...I see him gassing if it goes the distance...while meathead isnt the greatest either, I thikn his hands possess more power than Kimbo. If you remember kimbo was actually small compared to alot of the other guys.
I actually think Kimbo is an alright dude with some pretty good hands for a street fighter/MMA in training, but I still think hes going down. Should be good a good fight tregardless, I actually prefer Kimbo over meathead.

That's why they are putting him up against Kimbo. In an attempt of padding Kimbo's record. At 1-0 we have yet to see how good or bad Meathead actually is. So this is a pretty risky fight for them to be putting Kimbo in imo.

Its a total risk, cause no matter how bad people think meathead is, he still posses knockout power and it only takes one good shot "a punchers chance" like I said I favor Kimbo as a fighter, but for some reason I see Mitrione beating Kimbo.

He got down to 212, he can make 205. I think the problem is he doesn't want to. I thought that was the whole purpose of the Houston fight being at 215 catchweight. It was a trial run for the eventual cut. I'm sure after a loss at HW he will cut down.
