Either way I just want to see Anderson beat the mess out of someone for sure.
It looks like UFC gave Rolles the boot also.

I second that. The fight with him against Forest seemed a bit odd. Forest got knocked down and supposedly was hurt and then right after the ref stops it, he runs out of the ring in a hurry. what was up with that.

And Rolles is all name.

Forest always does that to save the embarrassment.

It was said at the time that his jaw was dislocated/broken. :dunno

yeah Forrest wears his heart on his sleeve.
Im sure he took off to avoid blubbering on live TV again ...

... which still wouldve been better than the time he spoon-hugged the fighter after that one win ... :monkey1

Forrest ran away to avoid crying like a little girl. Just like he did when he got TKO'ed and lost to Jardine.

Well.. so much for Silva vs. Sonnen. Looks like the UFC 112 Main Event is going to be Silva vs. Maia.

damn.......Maia just fought too, he isnt going to have much preperation time at all, but he prolly looks at it as a great opportunity cause who knows when he might get another shot

im pissed and bummed that vitor is out. was looking forward to he and penn having belts.

Looks like you'll be pissed in the future then because when Vitor finally can fight, Anderson Silva is gonna murder him. Believe it or not.. but I'm telling you. Also, not quite sure why after the raping GSP gave Penn in their last fight, but B.J. is once again talking about fighting at WW. Might just be talk.. but if he does go through with it, expect disappointment. :lol

I dont know why but i have a feeling Vitor will take Silva out. i understand that it's just too easy to say that Silva will win every fight that he ever gets put in...but this time i think it will be different.

In regards to Penn, he's always been about the challenge. I'd put money on him moving back up to WW, just because he needs that kind of challenge to stay hungry i guess. When he does go up to WW, Im sure i'll be disappointed eventually when he loses to someone bigger and stronger, but what can you do? I'd rather him move up and have exciting fights than stay at LW and be spoon fed these guys that don't deserve to be in the cage with him the rest of his career.

I've never seen A.Silva stunned, hurt, dropped from any type of strike. And that's Vitor's biggest asset. That's why I don't see him beating Silva. But I have seen A.Silva submitted.. a couple of times. Which, oddly enough, makes me more likely to believe that someone like Maia could catch A.Silva with a sub and beat him as opposed to Belfort KO/TKOing A.Silva.

Sounds weird.. but that's how I see it: If Anderson is going to lose, it's going to be by submission. And I honestly don't see Vitor Belfort subbing A.Silva.

As far as B.J. Penn: I honestly don't see him beating any of the current top UFC WW's. GSP, Fitch and Alves would all demolish Penn imo. And I think even Thiago, Koscheck and Daley (if the fight stayed standing) would handle Penn. Hell I think even Serra at WW would give Penn problems, and that's a guy who Penn beat at LW.

Im honestly pretty excited to think that Penn would fight any of those WWs right now. With his strength and conditioning the way it is now, it would make for some great fights. He just needs to bulk up the right way this time instead of just letting himself go to make weight.

By bulking up though, he may lose some endurance and quickness.

^^^:lecture This. Do you guys seriously believe Penn is gonna jump up there again without being 100% ready. I believe he wants a GSP rematch, but will seriously bulk up and get strong for that fight instead of the last one where he almost looked like he had a beer belly. If he can put pure muscle mass on and keep his conditioning/speed IMO he'll take a lot of the WWs.

I'm still bummed about the Vitor fight. Belfort's striking may not be as pretty as Anderson but Vitor does have the KO power much like Anderson. It could of been a great fight with Vitor having a better chance then any other of the fighters Anderson has fought in the UFC. But Chael Sonnen v Anderson should be interesting when and if that happens.

I'm all for Penn at WW. I just wish they would let him test the waters as opposed to putting him in another immediate title shot.

Silva fought Irvin when he went to LHW... Let Penn fight Davis, Lytle or the like.
