I could see Bisping winning against Wand just like he won against Kang (another fight everyone thought he'd lose). I'm curious to see how Wand looks at MW since this will be his first actual fight at that weight. The Rich Franklin fight was a catch weight bout at 195 lbs. Might be a new start for Wanderlei's career. Or it might be a disaster. :lol

I'm not a Bisping fan in the slightest, not a fan of people that do a lot of jawing in general. But, I thought he looked pretty solid in his last bout. I think him being KTFO by hendo may have done him some good. We'll see what happens but I'd be surprised if he loses to Wand.

Kang turtles any time the going gets tough. Wanderlei doesn't, you have to put him to sleep.

I'm with LOTRFan. Bisping will either peck away at Wand like his fight with Leben, or Wand gets KO of the night.

When I re-read my comment I see the confusion. I should've clarified it better. :lol

I don't mean I think Bisping will beat Wandy JUST LIKE he beat Kang (TKO).

I meant I could see him pulling off the win even though everyone thinks he's going to get ass raped. :D

Wanderlei isn't exactly the hardest guy to take down so I could see Bisping taking down Wandy over and over again and winning a decision by points.

Yeah, I know what you meant. I was just making a statement.

Imo Kang has always been over rated. I hate saying it, but Wand has been for a while too. I don't see this being an easy fight for either fighter. I'm really looking forward to it.

Agree about Kang. As far as Wanderlei, let's be completely honest here.. Wand was on Steroids when he fought in Japan.

Probably, but I don't think that is the main reason for his recent losses. He hasn't changed his game in any fashion, and people have gotten wise to it. Two punches and a thai clinch are all he has really, and I can't even remember the last time he clinch kneed anyone.

I thought Wand beat Franklin, he should of stopped him, but Franklin was holding on at the end, its was a tough decision loss, same with the Wand v Chuck fight. It was a great fight but I felt it was too short (3 rounds). I dont think in either of those fights there was a "dominant" winner. The KO loses are a different story but they are from top fighters.

Then Bisping I just feel has no 'A' level talent. How good is his Standup, Ground game. If Wand comes out aggressive it should be an early KO, maybe round 2. I do like Bisping, I like his trash talk but I just dont see him winning or being in the UFC much longer. We shall see, its already been a crazy year in the UFC.

Its an interesting fight but I'm not paying $50 for this card.

I'm getting antsy about Cro Cop's fight. I just want him to give me one more quality win before calling it quits/being cut/whatever. I don't know if it's going to happen. I'll be sweating bullets during the fight.

As for Wand, I love the guy to death, but its unfortunate that his looping style punches are his KO ticket. I mean everyone knows it and if you just throw a straight shot down the pipe your going to tag him. Im not saying he isnt an awesome fighter, like I said I love the dude and his style, but a straight puncher will have his number even if its by decision.

As for Crocop...I was reading about him training in Holland and its like wow man, it took you this long to figure out that you need to leave your old camp and start working out with other people. I think Cropcop is or was a great fighter, still a fan of his but I just dont see him winning this at all. Hes to predictable and doesnt know how to fight in the clinch and still has no ground game only from a defensive standpoint. Goodluck to him but I just dont see him getting the W.

Sad but true. I just feel that Crocop is outmatched in the UFC. Same for Wand. If he loses against Bisping by a KO, he might have to retire or fight else where.

This is true, and I've been thinking the same for a couple years now. He's very entertaining when he's in his element, but when his opponent realizes his main weapon are his leg kicks---its not much of a fight.

 The hell happened to him? Off to mmaweekly I go.

Okay. Cro Cop is fighting Australian Anthony Perosh now. He had a two fight stint with the UFC a while back, going 0-2. It will be really really bad if Cro Cop loses now...

Look at him in PRIDE and look at him in the U.S. with Drug Testing (Even PRIDE 33). Completely different. Same style? Yes. Same physique? Hell No. Same level of aggression? Hell No. Same stamina? Hell No.

I disagree with the same level of aggression and stamina. I think those are about the same as they were.

He did have stamina issues with Franklin, but that could have been because of the cut. He went 3 with Liddell, only slowing down when he got tagged.

I see his aggression being part of his style myself, and that's part of the problem. Maybe if he would move in other directions other than just forward he wouldn't get tagged so much.

*Edit. I'm watching the countdown show and they're(team Wand) talking about how Wand is going back to his old aggressive style for this fight. I honestly never thought it changed. Bisping's camp agrees with me.:lol
