I think if BJ moves up to WW, then once again it will be a true test of his cardio. For BJ Im not sure if bulking up is such a good idea, but then again being smaller might not be the best thing either.

Silva fought Irvin when he went to LHW... Let Penn fight Davis, Lytle or the like.

Only reason A.Silva fought Irvin and Forrest is because him and Machida are friends/training partners and refused to fight each other. If any other person would've been LHW champ, Anderson would have been given an immediate title shot.

As far as B.J. Penn: He's a great LW. But other than winning the WW title once (and never successfully defending it BTW) he's never done anything significant in that weight division. Not sure why people still think he can either!? Penn is 1 - 3 at WW in the UFC. :lol

Honestly can't understand all the high hopes. He's physically too small to compete with the current crop of WW's in the UFC who all routinely cut weight and weigh like 180 - 195 come fight night. Hell, Anthony Johnson usually weighs over 200 lbs.

All of Penn's success in the UFC has been in the LW division where he's currently 10 - 1 - 1 AND the reigning LW Champ (with 3 successful title defenses). Significant difference.

Yeah I agree, I just dont see him doing much at WW, not saying he cant beat a few guys, but I do think he needs to put his concentration on LW. I mean no matter how dominant he is at LW he should focus on that first and foremost.

his record in the UFC may be 1-3 but that number is a bit misleading with 2 losses to GSP and 1 to Hughes. Both guys who 'should' beat Penn regardless. It's not like Penn lost to a Kos or Fitch at WW.

I dont have any high hopes, but Im pretty confident that Penn will do much better than you think he will at WW. And like I said, i'd rather watch Penn fight a Fitch, Kos, or Alves than I would want to see him fight a Gray maynard :lol

Anderson fought Irvin before Machida was champ.

I think Silva/Irvin was the card that the UFC made up on the quick to compete with Affliction's event on the same night. That being the reason for Anderson not getting the immediate title shot makes sense.

Either way he got a lesser opponent at 205 before stepping in with an ex champ.

I'd like to see Silva fight the winner of Rampage vs Rashad.

Does anyone think Wanderlei will beat Bisping?

hell yea most overrated fighter and just brings ticket sales to the UK.

keep dancing Bisping and pray that your fist are coming faster and faster with those little love taps.

Well if Shogun beats Machida, the winner of Ramp and Rashad will prolly get the next shot, then after that, we finally might see Silva take a title shot in that division, as a lot of ppl want to see him get.

I actually dont thing Wanderlei will beat Bisping, he is too one dimensional at this stage of his career, this guy is nowhere near the fighter he was in his prime. I pick Bisping by decision though, cause Bisping dont have Rampage kind of power to KO him.

If Bisping wins it will be by decision, if Wand wins it will be by KO; I really don't want Bisping to win. :angelsmil

I agree... dance for the judges give us a show :lol

but com'on Wanda give him one that he'll never forget, I'm just asking for Wanda to get lucky :dunno

Yeah I really hope Wanderlei brings it and KO's bisping for sure. I to agree that Wand isnt the same fighter he used to be, but he still fun to watch.

hahahaha love taps. Someone should tell him his in a fight.

Bisping is a smart fighter, he approached Henderson all wrong and walked into a right; I don't care for the amount of ____ he talks, but he has the talent.

I'd agree there, LOTRfan, call me biased, but up until Hendo he hadn't been stopped in his career.

For me he just lacks KO power and maybe aggression. He has the skills, that's for sure.

IMO, I don't think he fought anyone of that caliber just yet.

Irish Hand Grenade... maybe.
