Its official, boxer James Tony signs a multi-fight deal with the UFC. This is going to be interesting...a glorified kimbo with better hands and no ground game. I wll give him that hes an exciting boxer...well at least I like to watch him fight, just my opinion though. Not sure how hes going to fair in the UFC, especially considering he talked smack on the grappling arts.

He is going to get owned. He's an okay boxer but like people have said he has no ground game and has never been on his back. Only person he could fight is Kimbo.... who is working on his ground game. Imagine Tony against Brock.

He's been working with Juanito Ibarra who used to train Rampage.

Honestly.. I don't think he'll do much.. unless he fights a pure striker. I'm also curious to see what weight Toney will fight at since his last couple fights in Boxing (since 03) were all at HW.

It doesnt matter what weight class he fights at he is going to get killed. His only chance is a KO.

Yeah I hope they stick him with someone who has a killer ground game especially since he was talking trash on the grappling arts. Besides punching power hes not going to be able to do much. It will still be interesting to see, but yeah I dont see him lasting long.

I think so as well, I think Dana/Joe silva will make an example out of him. As you said to show other boxers you cant just come into MMA thinking your hot $#it and think your going to walk away a champion.
