Yeah I really wanted Frank to win, but I agree he looked really gun shy. He hesitated way to much and didnt let his hands fly. Those few little flurries he had was just to get in the clinche which shane immediately took him to the fence like brock did and he just ate a bunch of rabbit punches until the second time around in the clinch when shane connected with the left uppercuts. Im a Mir fan, but Shane easily deserved the win. Frank just didnt bring his A game.
Regarding size you can see clearly that brock is still a beast and is much bigger than shane when they met in the center of the cage.
As for GSP and Dan...wow snooze fest. I love GSP and I really like Dan and I thought Dan was going to bring more to the table and actually maybe land a punch...instead we got take down after take down of a dominant as always GSP. Not taking anything away from GSP just wished he could have finished it sooner since Dan didnt come prepared like I thought he was. Thsoe submssions were great and exciting to see Dan escape but still I got tired of take down after take down.
I actually thought Kurt Pelligrino(sp) had one of the best fights of the night.

Goddamn. Sometimes I don't see how I don't place top 20 in UFC fantasy. I was 73/19,624. 
I only called Wallace and Drwal wrong. I nailed the GSP, Miller, and Fitch fights.

Dan Hardy can now STFU, all that talk and he did NOTHING. Sure he got out of the submissions and didnt tap when lesser fighters would have, but he talked all this game and didnt back it up.
ID rather get knocked the FO in the first round, then get abused for 5 and still get the embarrassing loss. One ref called 2 rounds 10-8

Nothing new there, alot of guys that fight GSP come off the same way Hardy did.

How do people get bored with the GSP fight? Constant movement by GSP, while also trying to finish the fight (and almost did!), many reversals/transitions, and Hardy showed he had heart and was game. Learn to appreciate grappling and the constant struggle people go through to improve position. That's why I hate when people say things about fighters like Fitch and GSP not being entertaining. Many fighters improve their position and land punches yet get booed? A large portion of the UFC is about grappling, if people don't like it go watch K-1 or boxing. To the fans who were booing during the GSP vs Hardy, Miller vs Bocek, and Fitch vs Saunders fights I say ____ you.
Yea same here I got 80 and 92 (I have two accounts). GSP, Miller, and Fitch are the gimmies. It's all about getting lucky with a KO,TKO, or Sub. IMO the Riddle vs Soto fight screwed me over because Riddle was on his way to another decision win until that illegal upkick.

Yeah I cant say I remember Dan landing any punches at all...he might have slipped a jab in or something.
As far as GSP being boring, I dont think hes boring at all but I will say that even Dana said the fight didnt live up to his expectations. George fought a smart fight and sometimes smart doesnt translate out to exciting...that being said, Dan should have worked on his take down defense and maybe he would have been able to get some knees in or at least land a few punches. I dont think people should boo though, even if the fight is a snoozer theres no reason to boo.

Yea Dana, myself, and most of the mma world expected GSP to finish and he didn't that was a little dissapointing. But I'm happy that someone else here thinks booing isn't good.

well at least GSP always stays busy and is always trying to improve his position to try and end a fight, Dan just had a good enough defense to prevent the finish. Its not like he just lays on top of a guy and does nothing

lol Maybe he didnt land any punches. And he certainly didnt defend any take downs. people said the fight was boring but GSP was active. He just didnt lay on him like some wrestlers do.

Yep. I had Riddle by decision too. If I had got that +Carwin by KO(I called TKO) and Almeida by choke in the second(I called first), things might have been much better.

lol in that case I'll agree with you, that was nonsense. Also when Thales fought Anderson...thta was reason to boo also. Beleive me though I dont boo because all those guys work hard and are striving to be the best or at least put on a good fight. I appreciate that. I usually even clap or cheer for the guys I dont like. I'll also give a fighter props on a great fight. Me not liking a fighter is nothing personal I just might not care for his style or whatnot. Even a "boring" fight as long as one of the fighters is working, im game. I love a good technical fight, to me a great ground game leading to an awesome submission is as exciting as a great KO.

I really really really wish Lesnar vs Carwin would be held at Cowboys Stadium. Maybe with GSP vs someone as co-main event...but it looks like it's already heading to the MGM in Vegas.

Yeah I usually only get to attend the events that are close by me. At least within driving distance. The only event I actually flew to was back in the day when I went to Pride 32 in Vegas.
Depending on the rest of the card, Brock and Shane would be good, but I usually like to make sure theres more than one good fight on the card at least that I actually care about.
