Why does Bonnar have a gun????

cause he's the american psycho.

OH SNAP!!! Dana White is on Jim Rome's Show and said "If Silva acts like he did again in the ring, I'll cut him". Crazy. And Silva is reported to be fighting Sonnen next.

Dana said Sonnen is going to bring it to Silva...........maybe so, but hes gonna get raped in the process.

If Silva did what he did to Maia because he felt disrespected....then I would imagine the fight with Sonnen will go the same way....

Imo it's not unrealistic to call Silva by however he wants in that one.

I wonder if Silva will finally speak English in the post-fight interview ... :naughty

Because by definition, THAT'S an excuse. :lol

ANYTHING said after a fight from the loser to offer up a reason as to why they lost is an excuse.

Just like Tito Ortiz.. he's always "100% healthy" before a fight then he loses and it's suddenly "I was actually dead. I was just recently resurrected for this fight.. so I was really stiff and didn't feel the same. God bless all the Troops overseas.."

BJ Penn, Tito Ortiz and now that I think about it, Ricardo Arona are the biggest excuse makers when it comes to a loss. Just say nothing. Take the loss like a man and move on.

Yes. They do. And also when your trainers, etc. speak about you that represents YOU. These people work FOR their fighters. It would've been different if some random doctor made a statement that he treated BJ Penn and the info got out like that. But this ish is coming directly from BJ Penn's coach/camp "to explain (a fault or an offense) in the hope of being forgiven or understood" i.e. an excuse.

I know what the definition of an excuse is, and Rudy V wasn't saying it to be forgiven for anything. He clearly states that he's not trying to make excuses for the loss because Edgar fought well and had a good gameplan.

Yet people still say "Ohhhhh another BJ penn excuse!!!". :lol

How do you say nothing when the media is the one who is trying to get "why did you lose the fight" out of you? Just about every fighter does it, but it's only a few that are taken as excuses.

Whatever, people have their own interpretations of what happens all the time. It's not worth discussing or arguing about.

And I guarantee you even if a doctor came out of nowhere and so happened to tell the media that Penn was in bad shape due to illness, you guys would still be claiming excuse. :lol

Like him or not, Silva is still no one to doubt in his abilities. I dont care what they say, I still think hes just bored and would rather play around than finish fights.

How do you say nothing when the media is the one who is trying to get "why did you lose the fight" out of you?

Do what every other fighter does, say "he (opponent) was the better fighter tonight". Plain and simple.

My point is this: None of these fighters suddenly come down with something hours before the fight. If they have an injury (serious or minor) or an illness, etc. they get it well before the fight. THAT'S the time to speak up about it so it won't come off as a cheap excuse as to why they lost (if they do).

It was known that Anderson Silva had surgery on both of his knees going into the Lutter fight (which Silva won). Rogan and Goldie even mentioned it during the fight. And that's because Silva and his camp came forth with that info BEFORE the fight. A lot of fighters have mentioned injuries, illness pre-fight. So even the announcers speak about it during the fight.

I say BJ Penn, Tito Ortiz and Ricardo Arona are the biggest excuse makers when it comes to a loss because all 3 are "In the best shape" of their lives and "100% Healthy" going into a fight. But the minute they lose.. they have some kind of injury, illness, excuse. After the fact.

I don't know how wise it would be to state right before a fight though that they have a bum right knee or whatever. Its kinda a damn if you do damn if you don't in my opinion.

And Fedor does duck fighters. lol He ran from the UFC. :)

I was referring to Vadim Finkelchtein's comments about Overeem.

Vadim Finkelchtein said:
He has nothing to offer for Fedor Emelianenko, except being a steroid bully.

So right there you have Vadim, Fedor and M-1 Global outright ducking a fight with Alistair Overeem. And why is it ducking? Because they follow that gem up with this:

Vadim Finkelchtein said:
Exactly. We are more interested in fighting Josh Barnett

So Overeem is a "Steroid Bully" and M-1 doesn't want Fedor to fight him because of that, but they want Fedor to fight Barnett!?

FYI: Barnett has tested positive for Steroids 3 times in his career.

:lol:lol:lol:rotfl:rotfl

Not to mention all these lovely tidbits:

Vadim Finkelchtein said:
I personally think that Alistair Overeem did not reach the desired level to challenge Fedor. He beat a lot of no-name opponents in Mixed Martial Arts.

Vadim essentially just described Fedor's last opponent Brett Rogers. lol. Other than Arlovski, Rogers has no other big name wins.

Vadim Finkelchtein said:
Overeem defeated Paul Buentello and then disappeared from the United States for more than two year, which is simply ridiculous.

Agreed. That happened in 2007. More ridiculous: Since 2006 Josh Barnett has not fought a single Top 10 opponent AND he tested positive for Steroids in 2009.

Vadim Finkelchtein said:
Also, pay attention that Werdum beat Overeem when they were fighting in Pride, four years ago.

Also, pay attention that Werdum was KTFO by Junior Dos Santos when they were fighting in the UFC, less than two years ago. Also, pay attention that Werdum hasn't fought a ranked HW since his match with Gonzaga back in 2008.

M-1 Global are a F'n joke. :duh
