You'd think he would've learned from the Fedor fight (where he was also overly tentative). Guess not. As far as the back of the head.. meh. That's what happens when you're getting punched and turtle up/turn your back to your opponent. lol.

Fedor is fighting Werdum June 26. If Fedor wins (which is pretty much a given) then we'll see because M-1 and Vadim (Fedor's manager) already turned down that fight (which Overeem just brought up) and they said Overeem was a "Steroid bully" or something. Right before saying they'd prefer Fedor to fight Barnett (who HAS tested positive for steroids. Actually 3 times!!!). lol.

Fedor isnt going to fight anyway that might beat him.

Yup. Because Overeem wanted to fight Fedor tonight. Strikeforce wanted Fedor to fight Overeem tonight. But Fedor and M-1 refused.

So instead, Overeem the Strikeforce champion had to fight a guy who was coming off a loss. And NEXT month, Fedor will be fighting Werdum. :duh

Everytime I watch SF I remember how amaturish almost all of the fighters seem. The announcers we so horrible even my wife commented on them and kept laughing at them... and that's bad.

I'm not sure the Heavy Weight champ guy could make it very far in the UFC...I say that not having ever seem him fight besides tonight so I may be wrong. Yeah and nice 12 punches to the back of the head.

D. White needs to do whatever it takes to get Fedor to fight in the UFC...would be a big draw and I want to see him against the elite fighters because I can't tell how good he is fighting the guys he fights.

well I think he would be ok in the UFC if he is roided up, doubt he could win the title, but I dont even think he could pass a drug test to begin with.

And dont try to tell die hard fedor fan this or they will tell you to eat or suck on something. They claim fedor doesnt want Overeem's belt... Seriously? That sounds stupid.

The announcers ruined it for me. I'll never watch another MMA event on showtime. Nothing but boxing commentators trying to announce an MMA fight.

And I said something before about Overeem hitting him in the head like that. I dont care if the guy was turtled up or not, no strikes to the back of the head. if that was a UFC fight, he would have been warned or disqualified.

I remember when Brock had his very first fight against Mir, hit him once in the back of the head and had a point taken away. Big John should know better than that

Poor Grimy. I had little faith that he would win. Overeem is looking decent at this weight. Too bad that AA lost too, apparently he felt refocused.
