D. White needs to do whatever it takes to get Fedor to fight in the UFC...

They've tried. They've given in to every demand M-1 and Fedor have made with the exception of co-promotion because that would be utterly insane. The bottom line is, Fedor and M-1 don't want any part of the UFC. People seem to forget that when M-1 and Fedor initially negotiated with the UFC, the sticking point was just Sambo, and Fedor competing in that AND fighting in the UFC. Dana and Lorenzo finally said F it, and was cool with that.

So once ALL their original demands were met and it was time to sign a contract, suddenly M-1 and Fedor decided "nah we need co-promotion too!".

:lol:lol:lol

Co-promotion with M-1 and Fedor = They supply Fedor, they get their name/company in the spotlight, they get half the profits and they get the rights to re-broadcast the show(s) overseas. The best part? They spend no money out-of-pocket and if the show fails they take absolutely no loss.

Sounds great right? Hopefully we can also see the NFL co-promote their shows with Pop Warner. Or maybe an NBA game with a high school Basketball team co-promoting. :cuckoo:

Look at all the problems Strikeforce have been having with Fedor and M-1. It's a joke. Fedor had numerous opportunities to join the UFC. He refused everytime. Instead.. he picked BoDog Fight, Affliction and now Strikeforce. It's on him. Not the UFC. Him and his management are ducking. Hell, they're even ducking Overeem in Strikeforce. It's pathetic.

Guess it doesn't help either when you see the two biggest tests in your entire career (Big Nog x2 and Mirko Cro Cop) that you couldn't finish (3 decision wins) getting destroyed in the UFC (Big Nog has been (T)KO'ed x2 and Cro Cop's been (T)KO'ed x2 as well).

Fedor's entire mystique revolves around him being essentially undefeated. Once he loses.. that bargaining chip goes down the drain. So with that in mind, what would be the safer bet? Going to the UFC right now to fight the #2 through #6 fighters (Lesnar, Cain, Carwin, Mir, JDS) or stay in Strikeforce and fight #10 Werdum (who might be moving to #8) and unranked Overeem (who might be moving to #8 or #9)? What's after that for Fedor!? He has no more ranked fighters to face outside of the UFC after Werdum and Overeem. That's it. And BOTH those guys are on the bottom half of the HW Top Ten.

Anyone who seriously thinks Fedor wants to fight the best fighters in the world is delusional.

D. White needs to do whatever it takes to get Fedor to fight in the UFC...would be a big draw and I want to see him against the elite fighters because I can't tell how good he is fighting the guys he fights.

Dana doesn't need to do anything. Fedor needs the UFC a helluva lot more than the UFC needs him.

:lecture:hi5::exactly::goodpost:

Everything you said was 100 % true. People keep telling Dana to get Fedor and they have tried numerous times and given into almost all of his demands. Like you said, he doesnt want to fight in the UFC since he will lose and doesnt want to fight Overeem either for the same reason especially since he just beat Rogers. He has and will keep ducking the UFC for the rest of his career.

And I know Strikeforce is tired of dealing with him.

At this point i couldnt care less to see Fail-dor fight anymore.

Hear what the sleazebag Scott Coker has to say about Overeem vs Fedor fight.

Dana White said at the last UFC he will get Fedor in the UFC. But the UFC HW's need to build some prestige. I dont know who the best UFC HW is yet. Let's see what happens with Brock v Carwin, and if Cain fights the winner. They need a dominate HW before Fedor gets there. And Lesnar isn't it.

I can`t wait to see people`s reactions after Fedor`s first fight in UFC if he ever get to ufc,if he wins, alot of people will call him the best fighter in the world and tell the haters they told them so.The Haters will go the complete opposite way if he loose...:lol

They did the same thing with Machida. They kept saying how great he is and then when he lost, people called him crap,

And they are already calling Fedor the God of MMA and the best in the world.

That's what happens with a flashy sport like MMA. too many uneducated idiots flock to it and call themselves fans...only to jump from one bandwagon to another.

Machida got hit on the side of the head, dazed, and then pounded on. I see nothing to be ashamed of in that.

Brett Rogers' performance on the other hand is the complete opposite. he's just a nobody.

Yea.. It's pretty sad how fast people jumped off his wagon. I think he will be champ again, for sure.

Maybe if people would wait till the fighter does something spectacular in the division (see Penn at 155, GSP and Hughes at 170, Silva at 185) that wouldn't happen as much.

Machida is still great. He just got caught, it happens. He will be back and be on top of the LHW division.

Yeah, I was pissed that night. So many people were talking trash about Machida after the fight. That's that whole "slugger's chance" attitude. Shogun caught him pretty good, and it just happened to stun him...then he stayed on him before Machida could get a chance to recover. Neither fighter did anything wrong IMO, its just what happens in a fight. So many people were yelling "Machida sucks" at the fight I just wanted to ask them what his record was. I like both fighters, but to say the former champ sucks is ridiculous IMO.

IMO, shogun was the lucky one to have landed in the mount position after they fell to the ground. if not i think machida would have been able to recover.

I can't wait to see Machida's come back fights....he'll have the burden of an undefeated record off his shoulders.

Any idea who he'll fight next? Rampage/Evans, Randy Couture, Jon Jones, Forrest Griffin?

Make sure you dont read any comments on youtube... Nothing but haters and fake MMA experts.

Jones vs Machida = Great Fight.

I think machida vs Rampage/Evans makes more sense than Shogun vs Rampage/Evans.

I want to see Anderson Silva vs Shogun.
