Being that almost the whole countdown was dedicated to Brock vs Carwin with about 15 mins to Leben and Akiyama, I think they realize what a big fight this is so there trying to get the maximum amount of replays through out the week on the countdown.

yeah tonight it was on Spike, im sure it will replay again on Spike and Versus at different times throughout the week, so just keep your eyes peeled if you missed tonights. It was pretty good.

Had to do it. :lol

Well the only other real 145 lb women out there that Cris hasn't raped is Toughill (2# Female FW). So it makes sense. But realistically, Strikeforce is running out of options for Cris. Not too many 145 lb women for her to fight and even if they keep throwing her natural 135 pounders to crush eventually that won't be an option either.

She needs to start fighting some guys. :lol

EDIT - ArmoredFoe beat me to it! :lol

She might have a chance against SOME guys standing up, but I think she would be dominated by any guy with a good grand game. The girl has talent, and is a good fighter, but I dont think she could beat any of the top 10 guys in the same weight division, maybe top 20. But at 155, I dont think she could beat any in the top 20. Im talkin in general, not just WEC, Strikeforce, etc.

Nah I know.. just joking. Trust me, I've seen it before. :lol

Not sure if any of you know who Lucia Rijker is but she was kinda the same as Cris Cyborg but in women's boxing/kickboxing: really muscular, built AND fought like a man, would routinely demolish female fighters. She retired undefeated: Boxing 17-0 (14 KO's) Kickboxing 37-0 (25 KO's).

But she does have a loss.

It's not on her record because it was an exhibition match. And it was against... a MALE Kickboxer. She got brutally KTFO with a head kick if I remember right. Try and YouTube that ish, might still be out there.

Jan Finney suffered a broken orbital bone and only got $6,000 for that ass whuppin'. Ouch.

STRIKEFORCE: FEDOR VS. WERDUM PAY OUTS
Fabricio Werdum: $100,000
Fedor Emelianenko: $400,000
Cung Le: $100,000
Scott Smith: $55,000
Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos: $35,000 ($15k + $15k win bonus + $5k champion bonus)
Jan Finney: $6,000
Josh Thomson: $60,000
Pat Healy: $8,000
Chris Cope: $3,000 ($2k + $1k)
Ron Keslar: $1,500
Bret Bergmark: $3,000 ($1.5k + $1.5k)
Vagner Rocha: $2,500
Yancey Medeiros: $8,000 ($4k + $4k)
Gareth Joseph: $2,000
Bobby Stack: $2,800 ($1.3k + $1.5k)
Derrick Burnsed: $2,000

A disclosed total of $788,800 was paid out to the fighters.

The CSAC reported an attendance for the event of 11,757 for a gross gate of $1,066,739.

**NOTE: "Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Werdum" had the lowest attendance for any CBS/Showtime televised Strikeforce event at the HP Pavillion in San Jose (where SF is based and most popular).

16,326: "Strikeforce: Shamrock vs. Le" (March 2008)
15,211: "Strikeforce: Shamrock vs. Diaz" (April 2009)
14,749: "Strikeforce: Evolution" (December 2009)
13,976: "Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg" (August 2009)
11,757: "Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Werdum" (June 2010)

BUT.. I believe it's either one of or THEE highest-grossing events Strikeforce has ever had. Not 100% sure, but I can't remember them ever having a million dollar+ live gate before even with ALL those other events that had more paid attendees.

Only weird thing is the fighter payroll ate up almost all of that gross profit. :lol

Thats awesome.

Poor Jan. $6000 to take an ass whoopin' of epic proportions. Most be nice to make $100,000 for beating Fedor.

I hope Strikeforce has benefits in place for the fighters that get seriously injured.

I haven't checked any injury updates, but I wouldn't be surprised if she had a broken orbital bone/fracture, etc.

If the cost of that had to come out of the 6k, well...

Isnt it mandatory that fighters have medical coverage? If not then WOW, I feel sorry for Jan even more.

It's not mandatory, but I know the UFC takes care of medical bills for UFC fighters. So I would think Strikeforce does the same.

There's already conflicting reports about the ratings for the Fedor vs. Werdum card. One release from SpikeTV and one from Showtime/CBS corp. So take both with a grain of salt. :lol

SpikeTV has distributed another ratings comparison press release in the wake of last weekend’s Strikeforce on Showtime head-to-head with the replay of UFC 113. The release states that Strikeforce garnered a 1.38HH rating with an average viewership of 412,000 viewers while also drawing a 1.39 in M18-34 and 1.2 in M18-49.

By comparison, the UFC 113 replay drew a 1.1HH rating on an average audience of 1.5 million people and drew a 1.2 in M18-34 and 1.3 in M18-49.

If completely accurate, the 412,000 viewers will be the third highest rated Strikeforce on Showtime event ever:

1.) Carano vs. Cyborg (576,000)
2.) Strikeforce: Miami (517,000)
3.) Fedor vs. Werdum (412,000)

https://mmapayout.com/2010/06/fedor...edium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:+Payout+(Payout)

According to MMAJunkie: Strikeforce avg Showtime viewership approx 550k viewers including DVR & on-demand. Main event a 2.1 HH rating, Peak: ~700K

https://mmajunkie.com/news/19734/so...ent-rates-third-highest-ever-for-showtime.mma

The only things not in dispute are:

1. The SpikeTV replay of UFC 113 had 1.5 million viewers.

2. "Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Werdum" is either second or third overall in the ratings (average and peak) for Showtime televised Strikeforce cards regardless of which report is correct.
