Thats funny. Machida vs Jones please. Only, arent they both counter strikers?

Forrest can fight someone from the crowd.
That would make sense too I suppose. I think everyone is in agreement that Jones is going to wreck poor Vlady without a scratch. He could probably fight again in October or whenever Machida is scheduled to return.

For the Carwin/Lesnar fight I'm going with the man with the larger hands....Carwin. Lesnar has been off for a while and I just have the feeling Carwin will take it.

I think that Jones vs Machida would be a bad match-up for Jones at this point in his career. Jones striking isn't nearly good enough to threaten Machida and I don't see Jones getting Machida down to work his G&P.

Let Machida beat up Forrest and give Jones someone like Bader.

That would be a great fight, but I dont see it happening. It seems like Dana is kinda building him up slowly for whatever reason. The guy needs to fight a top 5 contender imo to see where he is really at. I think Dana wants him to fight lil Nog.

No way, Jones is a wild beast. His reach and striking are giong to be to much for Machida if they do match up. I mean everyone seen what Shogun did and now its just a matter of everyone else doing it. As for Bader...hes got nothing for Jones...Jones would clean the mat with him also...let anyone beat forrest up.

None believers. You both underestimate the power of the Bones. :lol

Its just a fight I'd like to see since, like azure said, he needs to fight someone in the top 5.

And Machida can go wipe the floor with Forrest's face. lol :hi5:

...........how am I a non believer and when have I ever underestimated Jones? I'm pretty sure I have been supporting Jones longer than anyone has that posts in this thread. So..........:pfft:

Is Machida's take down defense good enough to stop Jones' attempts? I don't remember Rashad trying to take him down, it's been a while though. Tito's take downs are archaic, so Machida stuffing him doesn't show much at all imo. He hasn't really faced anyone else with that great of takedowns.

Ah Man,i was really looking forward to see Machida knocking out Rampage, was the match confirmed?

Wow...Griffin gets no love from you guys?

That's fine. He didn't get a chance in hell when he defeated Shogun, when he defeated Rampage, etc. either. Machida is good, but Griffin can beat ANY 205'er on any given night.

And I've got 100 bucks on Carwin. Carwin's hands WILL test Lesnar's chin, and Lesnar - like everyone else so far - will fail the test.

: )

I always liked watching "The Beast" fight..never knew what he was going to do. Stamina and skill sucked but he entertained me.

He also has a chin made of paper mache and a heart that pumps kool-aid. But besides that, he was fun to watch.

I would read a Sapp autobiography. I bet he has some goooooooood stories from his time in Japan.
