More rumours are that Brock and Mir are going to be the next coaches. That Brock will do TUF if the UFC lets him do wrestlemania. I imagine these come from the fact that the Mir v Schaub fight is off, now that Schaub is Fighting Cro Cop.

I imagine Dana will squash these rumours at this weeks event. I dont see Brock leaving the UFC, but I do believe his mindset on fighting has changed. But the UFC will change that.

Theres definitely alot going on with Brock and the UFC, and the WWE. Brock at wrestlemania is no rumour thats been out there.

Just like Cro Cop after all his losses, just like Mir after the 2nd Lesnar fight, just like Hughes after the Penn fight. Just depends on how you rebound.

As far as everything else, like I said, I'll believe it when I see it.

yeah as Devil said, i'll believe it when I see it. I do hope Brock gets his mental back together and comes back. I agree as well that he can easily get another title shot. Like I said before to me as long as Brock comes back strong, I see the belt staying between, Brock, Cain, JDS and Shane. I see them guys pretty much handing it to each other and keeping it between them.

The UFC plans on putting more fights on VS and they're working on a new TV deal besides Spike/VS to air fights.

That other TV deal ended up being ION Television which is available in over 90 million homes in the United States. The UFC plans on showing 3 live undercard fights from 125 on ION, ESPN in the United Kingdom and Rogers Sportsnet in Canada this Saturday. Not sure if the last two are new deals!?

Not as wonky as Bellator going to MTV2 but still.. ION!?

And the other big announcement was Chuck Liddell officially retired and will now be VP of Business Development with the UFC.

Oh the other thing was, Cain Velasquez will be out of action for 6 to 8 months with a shoulder injury. So now the speculation is JDS will be fighting for an interim HW title against possibly Mir (which is why Schaub was switched from Mir to Cro Cop).

Who knows though!? Speculation is usually wrong i.e. everyone thought Faber would be fighting Cruz next (was even a rumor that they would coach TUF) but now Faber is scheduled to fight Eddie Wineland at UFC 128.

So you can see how that speculation was completely off.

Quick note about Dave Meltzer, he set the record straight today about Brock Lesnar regarding all the rumors that popped up. Meltzer flat out said that he NEVER stated Brock was quitting MMA. He also never said Brock Lesnar was quitting MMA to go back to Pro Wrestling. It's all BS. Meltzer never said it and wanted to set the record straight since so many people were stating that and referencing him. He was pissed off too.

And about Wrestle Mania he was only speculating about that since the WWE has already made it public that they want Lesnar to participate (single event, one time deal). But again, it was just speculation on Meltzer's part. He never talked to Lesnar personally or anything. And both Dana White AND Lorenzo Fertitta (couple days ago) have stated it'll never happen.
