Well...another Overeem fight finished by way of KO, another can crushed. I like Alistair. The man is a beast, but I would REALLY like to see him fight someone in the top 10...hell...the top 20. I guess some people had Brett Rogers in the top 20 after he KO'ed Arlovski...but Arlovski has always had a chin made of paper mache.

For anyone who's curious as to why Duffee was smiling and so happy after he just got KTFO: He took the fight on short notice and reportedly got at least $60,000 for it.

In contrast, Duffee made $10,000 ($5000 + $5000 Win Bonus) for his first fight in the UFC and $8000 (KO Loss) in his second/last fight in the UFC. And Duffee was making considerably less in the small time shows he did before that. Even the fight he had scheduled for January 28, 2011 with Titan Fighting Championship would have only paid him a few thousand.

So yeah he lost but he also made the most money (at one time) in his entire career. Possibly even more money than all his other fight purses combined. So that's why he was cheesing.

Should I feel like a backwoods hick because I've never even heard of this Ion channel?? I'll admit I haven't paid for basic subscription television since 2005, but I do watch quite a few syndicated television shows that are currently on. Yet, this Ion thing is completely new to me.
