I went to the StrikeForce Conference/Event Yesterday in NYC. It was a good time. Free Autographs, Sparring, all kinds of stuff.

I'm hyped for this tournament, alot of good fighters. I still can't pick a winner. I'm giving Barnett a chance. I think Overeem is the favorite and then Fedor. But anything can happen.

After Rampage threw a left hook (that grazed) Rashad ducked under and tried to go for a takedown. Yes. But his head never touched Rampage's knee. His head went between Rampage's legs. Rampage's right knee touched Rashad's left shoulder but it was the two big right hooks Rampage landed afterwards that rocked and dropped Rashad (made Rashad's leg get stanky for a minute. lol). Found a video of it so you can see.

At one point Rampage stopped punching all together and just laid on Rashad because he was so gassed.

I stand corrected good sir, i'd still take Evans in a rematch. Just too much speed and movement for Rampage and lets not forget Evans rocked Rampage too.

UFC LHW Division - Missing Piece of the Puzzle

Apparently the reason Rampage vs. Thiago Silva is off is because Thiago failed part of his drug test at UFC 125 vs. Vera.

Thiago Silva, speaking to TATAME.com today, claims that the first sample submitted to the NSAC tested positive for banned substances but his second sample came back negative, clearing the fighter of any wrongdoing.

Keith Kizer informed MMAFA.tv that this is false, and that the results of the second sample might not be known for a while:

“That’s not accurate. We have gotten only the first sample back. It could be weeks before we find out the results for the second test.”

well Vera showed very little heart or will in that fight, especially whenever he got taken to the ground. That contributes to it as well. A lil Nog fight would prolly be a stand up slug fest, but the fight against Bader was a pretty bad performance, and a lot of ppl thought he lost the split decision before that fight. He needs a fight against a lesser opponent than Ramp to get back on track.

It wasnt that packed. Alot of the people were standing in line waiting for the fighters to get off the stage and sign autographs.

True but bader is a much better wrestler at this point in time then Rampage and thats why he went for (and got) takedowns vs lil Nog. Rampage best shot vs lil Nog would be standing.

Yeah, Quintons going to win that. Hamill is one dimensional. His striking is mediocre at best and well hes got wrestling...I dont think he'll be able to take Quinton down.
