Come on, if Chael doesn't care why do any of you guys? Chael can wrestle and pushes the pace of a fight but he's really one dimensional. More Mark Coleman/ Tito Ortiz for the new UFC fans. His style will win him a lot of fights and I like his bravado. That said, I'm an Anderson Silva fan, have been since he was on the Chute Box team.

I lost respect for Silva during the Damian Meia fight. I acknowledge his skills as a fighter, but as a sportsman...no. I always go for the guy fighting him regardless of what the odds are.

That doesn't make it legal. And a stoppage for a warning may or may not have changed the outcome of the fight.

I hear ya, but after that quick exchange they both reset and Chael shot in and Anderson defended. So again I dont see how the shorts grabbing was an issue. The real issue is Chael throwing that crazy spinning back fist...

To each his own. I think one of the problems with that fight was the guys like each other. Mia was outclassed on his feet and looked for the takedown. Anderson wasn't playing that game with Mia. Everyone thinks Silva should be a Berserker but that's not his style....that was Wanderlei's style.

Yeah refs never make mistakes and UFC announcers are totally unbiased. :lol

If even Sonnen didn't see it as illegal, him taking the knee and all, the refs, and the announcers ringside didn't see anything wrong with it, what makes you think you would have a better view of it?

He only did it like what 3 times? If this went to decision, yeh the shorts thing could totally be a viable factor in scoring, but it wasn't enough imo to warrant a stoppage. It wasn't like he was holding his shorts for 20 seconds and then lettimg him go. They were brief moments.

Totally agree. He wouldn't have slipped and wouldn't have taken that knee to the solar plexus, and he would still have been able to do something.

And why do people hate Forrest lol?

Be a man, stand in the cage after a fight win or lose. Very disrespectful to run out like that. I've been watching MMA a long time and the only person I've seen do such is him....twice. I gave him the benefit of the doubt getting made to look like a fool in his fight with Anderson but why do that in a close fight? Then get dragged back to the octagon by Dana only to grab the microphone from Rogan and conduct the interview with Tito after a close retirement fight. I know he apologized but I'd bet that was 100% due to realizing Dana was going to unleash hell on him.

Forrest was making fun of Tito the entire time. Has Tito run out of the cage right after? Yes. Has Tito hijacked post-fight moments from other fighters? Yes. Considering Griffin as the comedic mind he is, that was all funny irony aimed at Ortiz. Funny send off.

Why'd he do all that stuff?

Dana said its because hes "kooky" :dunno

Must be like being on drugs without taking drugs :lol

I think hes actually just hyper emotional, which works well on a reality show, but as a fighter it gets him ridiculed (like when he has cried in the ring)

Did you see the second round? Where adjusted his game? And then won the fight?

Adjusting his game by trying to pull his opponent's pants down?? :lol
Stuffing a takedown by a Steven Seagal technique that we all call a wedgie:

So he gives him a wedgie and then tries to pull his shorts down? Yeh that's it, that's how Silva became the greatest. Shorts pulling or not, Sonnen took a big risk and paid for it.

It's about more then just the knee, and UFC announcers won't want Silva called for a illegal shot cause he's a money maker for them and I believe they favored him to win.

Everybody quickly calls Sonnen on the crap he pulls, but easily dismiss what Silva does. :slap
:lecture

See above.

I never suggested it was, but if you're comfortable knowing that Silva is a cheater then to each their own right?
Yes, I already said that Sonnen was foolish for that JBJ-backfist. He was already stunned at that point from the quick right hand that Silva tagged him with.
