When did he say that!? The only thing I read/heard about regarding the UFC post fight presser and Dana (about Cormier) was that he might be next in line to fight JBJ. Nothing about Cormier and Cain finally agreeing to fight against each other if matched up.

And even that JBJ match up isn't concrete since the winner of Hendo/Machida is more likely.

I watched the whole presser and he addressed Cains next possible fight. He mentioned Cormier and Barnett coming over and thats when he said that they, Cain and Cormier, eevn though in the same camp were ok with fighting each other if thats where the match ups led. I'd rather see Barnett fight Cain personally and Cormier fight Bones. Cains next fight will be Overeem if he beats Bigfoot. If Bigfoot wins then who knows??? I dont think JDS deserves an immediate rematch if Overeem gets beat. Better for Roy (I know Dana hates him), or Cormier (unify belts) than JDS getting a shot again so soon. I agree also that Hendo/Machida winner gets next shot at Bones with Gustavson behind them.

Yeah Im pretty sure thats not going to happen regardless what was said. Even DC said himself if Cain were to win agains Junior than he said its Cains time and he'll get his chance when the time is right. So more than likely DC is going to move down.

So Cormier said after Cain's win that (at least for now) he wants to stay at HW to fight Mir at UFC on Fox 7 in San Jose. But he restated that regardless of a win/wins in that division he's still firm about not fighting Cain. Ever.

Which begs the question: Why stay at HW then!?

My guess, he's not too enthusiastic about physically dropping down to LHW and having to fight bigger/faster or just as fast guys in that division.

Guess he's just gonna wait till Cain loses his belt

Maybe he has no faith in Cain keeping the HW title for very long, lol.

Exactly, thats what he means when he says "its Cains time" as long as he holds the belt its his time. If he doesnt than he'll make a move.

As for Cain holding onto the belt, even with the past fight with Junior. Ive said it before and I have a feeling the top 3 guys will basically just be putting the belt into rotation. These guys are all good and I just see them easily beating each other back and forth. Cain and Junior still at the top and whoever gets into #3 contention. I mean at this level it takes one mistake and your getting beat down.

Random but did Wan Silva get plastic surgery? He looks heka different

That was a while ago. He got his eyebrows shaved down so he doesnt get cut so easily.

On another note anyone watch Invicta FC over the weekend. MMA Junkie had the Ustream video up and I watched the event. I dont remember the girls name, but you gotta watch the first fight on the main card. Shes a chic from Scotland. She puts a Muay Thai clinic on this chic. Even landed some crazy up elbows that landed. It was fun. Even a little bit of butt crack and thong action, lol

Last Strikeforce event this Saturday. Looking forward to some good fights. Just figured Id put the reminder out for those that do have Showtime

I finally have Showtime, and Strikefarce is on its last show :lol. I'm excited for Nate to be added into the mix in UFC's WW div. Pretty stacked already. Lightweight with Gilbert is going to be interesting too. And if Alverez gets out of the legal mess and the courts rule he can go to the UFC, oh boy.

:lol:lol:lol

Joey Beltran & Rousimar Palhares both failed their drug tests for UFC on FX 6. 9 month suspensions a piece. Beltran was popped for nandrolone and Palhares was popped for elevated T-Levels. Beltran's win over Pokrajac has been changed to a NC.

:slap

Or "free" streams. :lol

I roll with the free streams as well. My cable company is doing free showtime this weekend so I'll actually get to see it. Otherwise its back to the streams :wink1:
