Yeah it's funny (because it happens so much) but the free Fuel card last week was infinitely better than that $60 turd. Thank the gods I don't pay to see any of them. :monkey3

The guys making money play it safe on the ppv cards. Not many guys making big money fight ***** to the wall and go in to whip someone's ***. Most top guys are fighting not to lose thus risk getting cut and losing that paycheck. That's why I love Wanderlei's axe murdering style. Not many true headhunters left.

Im with you man, usually I go to the local sports bar and just order food with the wife and we watch. Luckily she wasn't interested either. She liked Pat and Roy as well and we both were just like we can stay in this week. No reason to go out.

Perfect example why anyone fighting safe is an idiot because the UFC and specifically Dana White will always save a spot on the roster for guys who go all out, regardless if they lose. Just like Wand. He's 4-5 in the UFC. But he has mad job security. :lol

Dan Hardy. :lol

I thought Hendo beat Rashad. Fight sucked though. Rashad is aweful now. He was just trying to not get KO'd the whole fight.

The Fight Master show starts tonite on SPIKE. I'll be checking it out.

it's also the kind of style you want if you never want to win the title :monkey3

Hey what channel can I find UFC on? Oh yeah....like every damn tv station these days. :lol

uh......Fuel is the only station that the UFC can be found on a regular basis, so I don't get your post.

So the first night Bellator aired (live MMA + that crap reality show) without TNA wrestling as a lead-in failed miserably. Bellator 96 averaged 480,000 total viewers and Fight Master (debut) averaged 432,000 viewers. That's the kind of numbers they were getting on MTV2. So basically the success they've had so far on Spike has been due to TNA wrestling/wrestling fans sticking around to watch. Which is sad. :lol

ive been watching Fight Masters and its turned into background TV while I sketch. Its just to similar to TUF which I was done with TUF years ago so while FM is different its not different enough for me to care. The whole reality aspect of it just kills it for me. I just want to see fights that's it.

I think if Dan Hardy wasn't British, he'd of been dusted a while back. The UFC values his star appeal to that country more than his fighter's heart IMO.

Fight Master: It cracks me up how guys are choosing Shamrock's camp (or Joe Warren's) over Couture's and Jackson's.

I get where your going with that, but I like Frank. Yeah hes out of the game and hasn't fought in a couple years, but still his knowledge would be helpful. I agree with you on the Joe Warren aspect. It makes me laugh when Joe tries to compare himself to the other coaches. Joke Warren. Like Frank said "after the overhand right and the double leg, what else are you going to teach them"

He has the best wrestling credentials out of everyone on there, including Couture. So for someone who wanted to learn the basics of wrestling (in the short amount they have on the show) I could see them picking him. No denying he's been successful with that overhand right and double leg in MMA. :lol

As far as Frank, again, out of everyone on there he's the best pick IMO for someone who wanted a crash course in catch wrestling/subs.

Still, if you're a relatively new/unknown guy on the scene, Jackson's has to have massive appeal as far as sharpening up overall game when you look at his track record in coaching. It baffles me that guys aren't jumping on the chance.

I guess it depends on what you're looking for in a coach and what you wanna learn.

Maybe there isn't a lot of guys there who wanna learn the art of running away. :monkey3

yeah I think it boils down to what you want to learn as well. I Think Frank, Greg...whose Joe Warren (wouldn't even be a choice for me). My personal choice would be Frank. Because hes done it all, MMA, pure submission wrestling, and hes good with fitness and conditioning. Sure hes an old timer now, but again the knowledge is key in my opinion.

:rotfl

Too true.

The Anderson Fan inside me is starting to get nervous for the upcoming weekend. The media and fighters picking Weidman has me irrationally worried. Either way, he's had a pretty amazing run.
