The main event was exactly what I expected. ^^^^ all this Silva "should have been trying to knock him out" nonsense. Steping foward is not his style. Styles make fights, Dana White and Joe Silva of all people should know this. For what it was, tonight's main event was decent.
I'm not a fighter, and I never will be...who knows what is going through these guys heads in the cage. Silva didn't feel confident enough to roll with Leites. Period.

Neither were dominant. And to be perfectly honest, their biggest wins were against EACH OTHER. Not to mention the Interim UFC HW champ right now is the same guy who broke Sylvia's arm.
People love to talk up Fedor's competition (not you specifically kobayashi93) and I just don't get it. Fedor's three biggest wins in his entire career were against Nogueira twice and against Cro Cop. ALL DECISION WINS. Cro Cop went 1 - 2 in the UFC, with one devastating KO loss. Something Fedor could not do. Big Nog is 2 - 1 in the UFC now and just got stopped by Mir. Again, something Fedor (or anyone for that matter) could not do, in 2 fights.
Kevin Randleman. Mark Coleman twice. Tim Sylvia. Andre Arlovski. And for the mentally challenged: Big Nog doesn't count. Nogueira won the UFC interim title YEARS after he fought Fedor 3 times.
Again, key word there is "Former".
Kevin Randleman was beaten by Bas Rutten, (T)KO'ed by Randy Couture AND Chuck Liddell in the UFC. Fedor fought Randleman 5 years after he was UFC champion.
Mark Coleman after winning the UFC HW title, lost his next 3 fights in the UFC. One of which was a brutal leg kick KO by Pete Williams. Fedor fought Coleman 7 years after he was UFC champion.
Tim Sylvia's last 3 fights before Fedor included losing to a 40yr. old+ Randy Couture, a decision win against Vera, and a submission loss to Big Nog. Seriously, the biggest names on Tim Sylvia's win/loss record are IN his loss column (Mir, Couture, Nogueira). Fedor fought Sylvia over 1 year after he was UFC champion.
Arlovski's biggest win besides Tim Sylvia is Fabrico Werdum. And it was a decision win. This is the same Fabricio Werdum who got (T)KO'ed by Junior dos Santos in less than 2 minutes.
Fedor fought Arlovski 3 years after he was UFC champion.

Before Tim Sylvia, the last top 10 ranked opponent Fedor had faced was back in 2005 against Cro Crop. That's like 3 years. Meanwhile guys like A. Silva, GSP, and Evans were fighting and beating ranked opponents in their respective divisions. So how can Fedor be ranked higher for P4P!? Makes no sense to me. People use Fedor's past accomplishments to justify his position NOW. While other guys are doing significant things NOW. It's unfair imo.
