I don't know if the Loiseau fight made it on PPV [for Loiseau's sake, I hope not] but believe it or not , he was even worse...and got booed even more.

lol my post wasn't to try to one up on you. It was to let you know that your weak attempts to discredit me as a fair weather fan or someone who knows nothing about fighting couldnt be further from the truth.
You like to see the pound for pound best fighter in the world act just as much of a ^^^^^ as leites, i get it. that's great...however I have more respect for Silva than what you do I guess. He fought like a ^^^^^ not a champ.
And I'll say it again. MMA has turned into a fad because of people like YOU who think they know about the sport from their living room couches.hilarious.
And MMA will never be taken seriously by the media because of people like you, who have to act tough on the internet because they can't prove a point any other way.
Pics of you training or work. And even if you do train, lets get your name so I can confirm that you are a fighter. Should you not be a fighter, then you don't have much room to talk.

As for the displeasure and chants of the fans, here's a news flash for you ....if people who paid upward's of $500 want to boo and voice their displeasure that is their right, and it is quite frankly none of your business. Next time you want to open your mouth and tell the rest of us what we should or shouldn't be doing at a live event why don't you go out and pay that kind of money, and watch a piece of crap title match like I just did. I guarantee you'll be singing a different tune.
I have been to an event. UFC 74, great card. I wouldn't be singing a different tune, because when I purchase tickets I know a boring night of fights is a possibility.

No ^^^^?I thought Leittes was as bad as it could get....
For those watching on PPV that's a reasonable assumption, but no, Loiseau was even worse. He's never been the same since the Franklin fight and clearly he too was just glad to be there......sad to watch really.
And I love all this talk about fans not being able to understand the technical aspects of the fight or appreciate Leites gameplan. That was his gameplan?
....four month's of training and preparation and that's all he could come up with for the biggest fight of his career? It usually only takes a round or two for a fighter to figure out whether his strategy is working or not and since I think Leites is a pretty intelligent guy, you really have to wonder why he continued flopping on his back for 5 solid rounds every time Silva got close to him.....I think pretty well all of us realize when we buy tickets to a sporting event the potential is there for us to be disappointed. It is, however, one thing when a team/fighter loses a hard fought battle....it is quite another when a team/fighter "mails in" their effort. That is inexcusable, and when I happen to be one of the guys who is in essence paying their salary I am going to voice my displeasure. And you must be living in a bubble if you think this only happens at WWE events....cause it happens with every sport, in every town.
Now perhaps I missed that memo where you were appointed chief arbiter in all matters related to fan conduct at sporting events and if that's the case please feel free to post it for the rest of us to see. Until then, I'll chant "GSP", or boo, whenever I want....whether you like or not.

Well a secondary plan would have been nice...it's not like the guy was a last minute replacement. He had month's to prepare for the biggest fight of his career, surely he could have come up with a back-up plan if his "flopping like a fish out of water" routine wasn't going to work.
True enough, but since I'm the one who actually paid to be at "Silvia Vs Monson 2" or the "Borefest in Montreal", I'd say mine is really the one one that matters at this point. Sitting on your sofa hardly qualifies you to take shots at the fans who paid big money to go to this event. We all expected and had the right to expect, a quality title fight and we couldn't have possibly gotten something further removed from that. It's a shame really, because overall the card was quite good, but it sure ended on a sour note.

Like I said before, overall the event was quite good, I just didn't like how it ended. Esp. since it came off the heels of two really good fights....Stout/Wiman and and Liddell/Rua. And I don't entirely blame Leites for that mess, Silva dancing around the octagon didn't exactly endear himself to anyone. For a guy considered by many to be PFP the best fighter in the world [not by me] he sure didn't come off looking like it.
Why the UFC has no HW's. Lesner and Mir, thats a joke. Mir hasn't been the same since his accident. He did look good his last fight, or was it Nog looking old. Fedor needs to fight Barnett.

If Fedor could/would agree to a contract with the UFC it would be the best thing that happened to the league in a long time. Aside from the inevitable Silva vs. GSP bout, Fedor vs. the best HW the UFC has MUST happen.

After Barnett, he retires as the Greatest MMA fighter ever. I'm a Barnett fan I think he beats anyone in the UFC, and would love to see the fight. But Fedor will lose one of these days and everyone will say "you see he stinks".
Anderson is getting alot of heat his way. I think its a bad match up. Striker v Grappler. But everyones mad becuase it wasn't blood and guts. And I love the "you dont know about fighting you never fought", fans. If these people really fought they would appreciate it more. And I hate the booing its not the WWE. They were booing the 1st min in.
But the Chuck/Shogun fight was awesome. I was going to put $500 on shogun in Vegas he was +170.
I was surprised to see Rashad Evans the underdog in the Machida fight. That should be a interesting fight. I dont know who to pick for that yet. But the UFC is stacked in LHW dvision. I wonder who Shogun fights next.
But the Best HW's out there are Barnett#2 and Fedor#1 so its equivalent to GSP v Silva. The UFC has the best fighters except in the HW division.
