How big is the brife-case? Any pics of it? I was suposed to get it today but as usual the danish postal service are a bunch of lazy *****as:emperor If i don't have Blade Runner and the Lupe Fisco CD i also should have had today, this week, i will go Gears Of War on 'em!!

I got mine today! The packaging is great! JediMike pretty much covered how cool this thing is. I also like how "Voight-Kampff" is stamped on the case.

Now I just need to find time to watch everything.

Hey, "Batty"! I have a strong feeling you are going to LOVE this set as much as I do! Being as you use "Batty" for your board member name here, and you have the cool Rutger Hauer as Batty signature image too.

I got Rutger Hauer's new biography he co-wrote, and it's called "All Those Moments". I haven't read it yet, but it goes through his entire career up to after he finished working on "Batman Returns" a few years ago. You should buy it!

Thanks Batty. DVD's for Europe are usually region 2. Since the Ultimate DVD box is not on sale here in Europe, we have to order it from Amazon. Not a problem for me, 'cause I have a region free DVD player, but my buddy has not... And he wanted to be sure he'd be able to look at the DVD's before ordering them.

Yes!!!! Can't wait! and guess what! I just bought a new LCD TV today! I so wanted Blade Runner to be the 1st movie to watch on that new TV... but I still have to order the box. I think the 2 disk edition was released here today, and it doesn't look like they are planning to release the 5DVD box set, ever...

I'm getting mine from Amazon. I'm getting two in a way because they send me a replacement last week. But i can still help you out with prices. I paid $54.99 for the box-set and $10.48 for shipping ($65.47). Then i add 25% custom taxes and the total will be $81.83.

Yeah, they say 6-22 days but i always hit late 20's, early 30's. So it really sucks that it has to take so long:emperor
Last year i ordered the Grindhouse: The Making Of The Movie book and after little over a month it still hadnt arrived. So they send a new one. Two weeks later i get the replacement book and i didnt have to pay customs which is always great The day after, the postman knocks on the door again with another package and it's the one that's been missing for almost two months And i had to pay customs for that one So i just told him to send it back.

Great that you weren't charged tax! I've heard for a buddy, that sometimes they do charge tax on DVD's, and sometimes they don't. You can never tell. If I hadn't ordered a couple of hours ago, I'd definitely be a contender to buy your second case!
I'm a bit worried about the GENERAL message on Amazone: some EU people having troubles playing their (resent) region 1 DVD's on zone free DVD players... I'm especially curious about how my region free DVD player will react on that disk featuring 3 versions of the movie (as I have read). It seams to be a "branching" DVD - all common parts of the movie are used for all versions of the film on the DVD, only the differences are unique.
It's my first Amazon order, hope it's cool.

I'm sure it will work fine. I havnt had any problems with any of the importet DVD's i'v bought from Amazon or other places.

But your in for a trit. This box-set is awsome, very well done. It's a bit smaller then i thought but it's still great and makes it easyer to display.

Thanks. Can you also tell me the details please? I mean, is this delivered by UPS, DHL, ... or by the post? I really have no clue who will deliver the package. As for now, I haven't received tracking info, and I doubt that there will be any. It says on their site that orders that are fulfilled by Amazon.com and shipped via a trackable method (such as UPS) and will have tracking information. I can't see any in my account. You think I should email them?
It's been almost a week since I ordered, can't wait!!! What do you think of the spinner and the unicorn?

Mine was shipped with DHL. It's strange you havnt heard anything from them yet. Havnt you gotten a mail saying it's been shipped?

The Spinner and the Unicorn are great. They're made of metal (i think) and the spinner is very detailed with a nice paintjob considering the size of it. But the movie film clip and the artwork cards are also awsome I like those items a little bit more then the Spinner and Unicorn
