I just can't believe you sometimes, holmes :slap This looks like a 30$ Marvel Select Toy...You're going to have to spend at least 300$ more to get it re-painted by painter x...There are so many better statues you could have spent those 200 pts on :dunno

Yah but I also have to be realistic and say is SSC going to release another Ultron? I don't see it happening in another decade. The sculpt is great so if it warrants it, I will get it repainted.

The customer service at SSC is one of the best. Yah the odd time you might get an answering machine but you can always call them at a later time. I give them 9/10 as an overall rating.

They used to be, but like the quality of their products, it has declined recently. Odd time?? I called them 6 times throughout the day yesterday and it always went to answering machine. No call back or acknowledgement of my complaint. I am also being strung along on this Rogue replacement fiasco. They told me two weeks ago I should hear from them and yeah you guessed it...nothing.

I don't necessarily blame the customer service reps themselves. It is more a reflection of the whole company lately. They seem to be cutting corners everywhere to increase their profits, but it is at the expense of customer satisfaction. Not a good long term business model.

Really? Did that happen with every one of them?

No, but all the EX came with a wrong ES printed on the bottom of them and I mean all of them came with the wrong ES...:( So since they all were wrong SSC did nothing about the matter. If I'm not mistaken the same thing happen with the Magneto comiquette.

Well that sucks! Remember the Hulk comiquette with Sideshow spelt wrong on the base? :lol

well, the problem is there wont be another ultron so either you get it or you dont have an ultron :/ It's not like predator or ironman where you can pick and choose.

It doesnt make what sideshow did right though. Sideshow was a much better company back when it was small, how do you make more money but produce worse products is beyond me. Did you guys know they shipped the $350 snake eyes statue missing a second head, yes just missing. Of course if you bought it from a retail store they wont replace because the stores has no idea to them it's a brand new sealed product they sold you.. and sideshow wont replace it either since you didnt buy from them directly. What a load of crap.

Yeah same thing happened recently with Kabuki! Now neither Jerry nor Sideshow want to take responsibility for shipping the missing parts to clients...Look, As long as there are suckers willing to pay crazy prices for sub par products, they have no reason to change the current trend. The paint and material and overall QC keep will just keep getting progressively more and more sub par while the prices keep soaring.

Leo', once again you have hit the nail on the head with this statement. It was hard at first, but after sending back my first item for full refund feels kinda liberating. It's now going to make it easier to send statues back now that I have broken the ice.

That's Jerry's responsibility for not checking and put the parts inside the box. What gets me is that nobody realize that they made extra parts and yet did not even inquire on what they are for. I wouldn't necessary blame
SSC on this fiasco but it's ultimately PCS fault. The Paint app on Kabuki is horrendous too. Glad I cancel it.

Really? Did that happen with every one of them?

I believe it's on the majority of the first shipment of the regular edition. Some of the large better resellers are working with sideshow trying to get the missing head. But most smaller ones dont even have a clue what's going on and of course they dont have the head to give to the customers. And sideshow has a long standing policy of not supporting their products sold from resellers. So end result = you screwed.

u dont have to paint it anytime soon too, u can take ur sweet own time too :lecture

Re: My review of Ultron PF EX

Okay finally got Ultron 12/500. I have mis-feelings about this piece.

First impression is that base is huge & pretty nice. Ultron as expected had ok paint job but its no where near as good as the preview that we saw at SSC. I do not like the orange overspray on Ultron's eyes. It looks awful when the lights are turned off. No light issues on the statue or base though. Its too bad the paint job did not live up to the hype. The entire statue has silver glossy feel to it. Wish there was more of a metallic feel to it. The ear's of ultron was a b*tch to get in. I was very nervous on putting it in. It should not had been pegs used but magnets.

My Score on Ultron PF
Sculpt though is solid. I give it a 9/10
Paint 3/10

Overall 6/10.

The only statue that I ever recieved scored lower then Ultron was PCS Bison PF EX. I gave that piece of crap a 2/10.

6 out of 10 sounds about right & fair.

What are you going to be doing yours?

But I must admit that in some of these pic posted he doesn't look all that bad.
