No.. Bison PF EX was absoultely the worst. The fabric used was way too soft & you can see through it. I can't believe Jerry stood by that fabric choice. The fact the painter added the gray "after shave" is beyond me also. It looked awful. I should had broken the statue & got my refund back. Damn why do I have to be so bloody honest when I called SSC on it

Nope. Mine is very clean. No gap or glue on the breast plate of Ultron.

Replacement. I like the sculpt way too much to give up only after one try.

Pretty sure that aftermarket values will make this one very affordable. The problem will be getting a good one though. It could be that examples that are without flaws or damages could become quite sought after.

The thing is that I don't mind though. The paint job doesn't look too bad for me assuming I can snag him for around 200 or maybe less or maybe a little more. I don't have any other Sideshow pieces to compare him with so he'll look good on his own anyway. I really like Ultron's design and its a nice looking statue. If anything, I'll try to grab one that is riddled with some minor QC problems for a very low price and just be happy with what I got.

As someone who has just watched from the shadows, I'm kind of shocked people actually preorder these though. It seems like a lot of the recent releases have been pretty haphazard either with very different products from the original promotional shots or with a lot of QC issues. Yeah the price on the aftermarket might jump, but at worse it would probably jump fifty to one hundred the first few months so why not just wait? Hell it might fall in price like with Ultron.

It was done right. But I refuse to pay 324.99 for a piece with so much issues when the joker is at 349 and skarr 379 to name a few whose prices are not far from ultron price tag and they look amazing fingers cross. congrats to those who do have him and are happy with the end result.

Well one thing is for sure, Joker is not going to have a resculpted butt I do not believe a GORE piece has ever run into that much QC problems like this. I doubt SSC will let the first DC statue slip. Joker will be epic.

No way!! did they realize all the problems and just pulled this statue off the shelf? damn now i am having second thoughts about returning this...still waiting on sideshow's reply. arggg what to do

The ex was sold out a day after I reorder it. I'm very shocked the reg is soldout. It's possible SSC is pulling those stocks out to get replacements.

Yes that is my guess.
I hope that they can replace it. Its not that I cant fix it, its just that we paid good money for this. I am now very eager, as you are, to see what they will say....

The same has happened with the T1 PF, Ex is still available but the regular has sold out.

I think it's just the shops buying up all the regulars as I don't think they are allowed to by the Ex

Retailers can buy EX but at full price. It's possible that the retailers bought up the reg too instead of pulling it off the shelf for replacements.

There is NO WAY, ZERO CHANCE the reg edition of 1000 is soldout, be it through retail or online, for this character. Something is definitely going on, VS time to put on your sideshow hat and investigate

No i havent returned him yet, i submitted the return form with all the pictures and stuff last week, havent heard anything back yet.

EDIT: now that i think about it more, sideshow is probably losing money with each sales due to the extremely high number of returns/exchanges. So they probably decided it's not worth it to continue sell this lemon as each sale will just mean more returns/exchanges, and pulled the whole thing.
