Love this game - on Chp 19 now, and gotta say, when I saw Drake's cold breath in Ch 17 - 18 (ice cave), I was stunned! Never seen that in a game before.

Playing it on hard mode, and its not too hard, gotta say....that said, fun factor is amazing. Still stunned by the level designs!

Has this game caused anyone else's system to freeze up?? I was in the middle of a fight with several bad guys when the system locked up. I restarted it and thinking I'd have to replay the mission again, it skipped me forward to the next checkpoint.

Uh yeah mine freezed once on the train level, also Warhawk still occasionally freezes still.

Then apparently you haven't been playing games very long lol. Crash Bandicoot 2 (1997) and Metal Gear Solid (1998) for PSX both used the cold breath effect. Both over 10 years old now, my point is the effect is nothing new in gaming.

I start off every new game I get on the hardest difficulty.

That is excellent. I am needing mostly the kill '30 w/ weapon x, 50 weapon Y' so on

I am sure everyone knows this, but if you need achievements, such as the 'take 10 out in a row w/hand-to hand, you can do it, die, then play the same area to unlock another like the Stealth ninja trophy...

I kept replaying the retarded stealth chapter early in the game. You can get most of the stealth/melee based trophies there.

The game tallies the amount of stuff you achieve even when you restart a checkpoint or lose, right?

Yeah, everything counts. Well, I am still on my first playthrough, but am 12 trophies away from a Platinum

By the time the game is done, I should (hopefully) need only 6 trophies for that Platinum!

Played through chapter 16 earlier sunday. The game is longer than I imagined. Nowadays an action game campaign is relatively short (something that a $60 price tag makes extra apparent). Uncharted 2 already feels lengthy.

Completed the campaign for the first time, and going through it again today. Man, this game is amazing! Everything about it is fantastic and works well on so many levels. I have to say that the graphics are some of the best, if the not the best I have seen. Definitely one of the top games of the year!

Finished the first playthrough today.....Played for 26 game hours (including multi level attempts), have 90/101 treasures and am at 78% complete toward the Platinum....

Great game....last level was pretty hard on HARD mode......took 4-5 attempts, but got through it...!

all the main characters survived. I was sure worried about Elena for a couple min there. I personally could have used a lot more of Sully. Love his character

One cool thing, and very minor spoiler, when you unlock Doughnut Drake, he

sounds different. They altered his voice to match the look. Not that fat people are funny, but this skin makes the 'fat' jokes now make sense

Ace gamers can't start a game on normal? I'm sorry god of rules, please forgive me.

Ace gamers do buy the game the first day it comes out and beat it in 2 days, and get all trophies except hard and crushing. I'm already halfway through hard, which is easy. Nothing wrong with wanting to enjoy the game first rather than give myself a little challenge.

I enjoyed the game on hard first play through. Beat it in one day, collected all but one trophy, and enjoyed the hell out of it at the same time. I must be king Ace.

Games these days aren't that hard to begin with. Go back in time and play Ninja Gaiden or something and cry.

Collecting all the trophies or treasures in one playthrough would be quite an achievement though.
