Man, there's nothing like good audio. The Naughty Dog games have some of the best audio there is, the sound is VERY lifelike and you could feel the blades of grass rustle next to where you're sitting with a good setup. You feel like you're there.

As for the console heating up, one way to increase ventilation is to put a marble slab under the console- another trick used by audiophiles to reduce speaker interference mechanical vibrations btw. I always have my consoles on top of them since the PS1 days. You're welcome.

Uh huh...

Oh cool on marble, I may try that.

The last 2 Naughty Dog games, The Last of Us and now Uncharted 4. These games have displayed storytelling at it's finest

Just finished playing through the game last night and I am blown away. A masterpiece. Easily my favorite in the series. Naughty Dog's work on The Last of Us really prepared them to create a richer gameplay experience and a more sophisticated story this time around. Took some shots of my Libertalia Edition statue. I was worried when I found out it was plastic, but it's actually a more solid material than I was expecting and has a little more weight to it than I thought it would. Sure, the paint apps aren't perfect, but not terrible and worth the price IMO. Almost on par with TLoU statue they put out for the ps3 limited edition and leaps and bounds better than what Sideshow made for the CE of UC3.

That being said, I think I am going to attempt to tackle some repainting on this one.

How is the CE statue from Uncharted 3? I've been trying to get the whole thing minus game for sometime, the statue looks ehh. Which is bad since SSC made it, and Kotobukiya made a very good statue for Arkham City's CE.

Its solid. Best of some of the gaming statues I have, next to AC. My only gripe is that with the one foot peg only, he does lean.

Well so far this is an incredible game and a GOTY contender for me, no contest. Just completed chapter 11 and **** got me like:

I have seen quite a few people complaining that there are some pacing issues and it takes its time to get going. Even so, this doesn't bother me since I love to engross in stories that use slow build up and lead up to an eventual, satisfying pay-off, rather than just nonstop crash-bang-wallop that loses steam after 20 minutes and never recovers. Naughty Dog are masters of story telling, I never doubt them for a second. :lecture

Anyway, I'm taking my sweet time with this game, exploring and trying to find the collectibles on my first run. I also must confess that (aside from Golden Abyss) this is the only Uncharted game I've bought and played - for some reason I didn't buy the ND collection when it released and regret not catching up on the story, but I will play them once platinum this. :monkey3

And for the love of god, hurry up with that damn Ultimate Nathan Drake, NECA! :lecture

Statue looks way better in these pics than anything else I've seen. I like it!

Either 1/7 or 1/6 due to it being 12 inches. Or it's maybe just plain 12 inches with no scale in mind

I will say that you will appreciate this game a lot more had you played the previous 3. This IMO is THE perfect ending to a video game franchise. Some say that this works well as a standalone, and while I agree that it could be that, the story behind the story is just so perfectly wrapped up when you tie in all 4 together.

Honestly. Dissapointed. The game peaked at chapter 10 for me and then it was downhill from there. The way the story was told was well done but story itself to me felt a bit lacking. The gunplay in these games is still mediocre at best. Pacing felt off. Probably my least favourite after the first game

Just finished it.
Liked the level design right until the end but I kind of felt Naughty Dog let the critical acclaim for Last of Us go to their heads.

The ending and epilogue were way too Lifetime movie cheese for me.

Repainted my Libertalia edition statue. Redid the arms and face (except for the eyes and hair), added a little sweat effect, and dirtied up the clothes and shoes a bit more. Felt the base was fine as is except I added some water droplets onto the plant. Think it makes a pretty big difference. Hope you guys like it!

I gave the game 7.5/10. Very good story but felt a bit lacking in "wow" factor compared to previous ones. The villains are not intimidated at all and the climax is clearly not the peak of the story. I understand what ND trying to do here and clearly they're clearly doing it with "The Last of Drake" in their minds, which is not a bad thing but I preferred over-the-top action like UC2 more.

I just finished the game, with essence this is the "Last" Uncharted ever I took my time to play this game thoroughly and slowly with spoiler free expectations. Gladly I loved the game, the essence of the beginning rekindled the suave of thief side then a bit of settled down. The Attic was absolutely MY FAVORITE PART of the game. Walking through the house I literally spent a good 20 minutes just finding every easter egg and nod to things we missed since we last saw Drake. As I did in the last bit of the game.

I give the game 9/10.

The story arc got a bit like grabbing for strings as per previous games where you had almost all the information in Drake's journal. Sam felt like playing with Harry Flynn, except more "Related" so you knew it was even more personal. No Chloe but a letter after UC3. The Crash Bash had me in stitches... :lol Sully seemed kinda pushed aside from the story arc and continuity of the series. I'm interested how Naughty Dog would bridge that gap from UC3 with Sully saving Drake from Marlowe and there friendship was always there in a father/son way to.. well oh here's my brother Sam I'll call you off and on whenever Sully. I mean the beginning in my opinion with Sully inside the Prison as well would make all the sense to Rafe seeing Sully in Italy at the auction. Instead of like, how does Rafe know Sully again? Nadine filled the gap with the whole Lazarevic army. You can tell she was just a means to a end besides a fatal love attraction to Rafe which could have been worked on for a better betrayal or better yet catalyst of death for Rafe's anger besides a spoiled boy arc. And honestly, I was really looking for all kinds of creepy crawly or weird super/unnatural human setting. However the arc was reused to many times, cursed vampire men UC1, overgrown purple immortal hulks (partially immortal) and then water hallucinogenic which technically was Drake drugged out on monsters in mens eyes but really not monsters. So luckily no pirate welding cursed Avery. That aside, the last bit with his daughter really brought it home. A Drake now at what I assume is mid 50's seemed kinda kool, but alas with that in mind it really is the end of a series. A good one, with compelling story at least. But to be honest, I would have found it funny if they made the arc of his daughter be parallel to TLOU. Could you imagine Naughty Dog bridging two stories at once at the end of UC4. :lol

Statue in my family's garden, I've been waiting awhile to do this with my Custom 1/6 Drake. However decided to test it with the statue. The shrubs on the hround hid the base well imo.
