The Hasbro goggles are pants. I think I am going to make a custom frame and figure out a way to make a glass lenses. maybe out of a sandwich bag? Just kicking around some ideas.

I didnt know if any of the "bright" individuals here had done custom 1/6 goggles.

Theres plenty of really nice 1/6 goggles on ebay for fairly cheap if you want to go that route. Here's a few examples:

Haven't really done goggles before... but I tried to make sunglasses once. Don't use a sandwich bag! Look for packaging with flat, clear plastic and use that. Or plastic from the label part of a deer park water bottle (minus the label and adhesive, of course)

The only person i remember making screens is Mooncat, he used acetone or something for his battlestar galactica helmet.

Yeah a coloured plastic bottle might work if u can find a flat piece, or maybe heat it up a bit to straighten it.

Seeing how cheap most goggles are, I am just going to buy a few pairs and see which look best after a repaint.

err... to anyone who would actually do that, don't! Unless you do it outside with a breathing masky thingy...

Heating water bottle plastic can actually release caricinogenic gases (types of gas that can give you cancer). That would be pretty bad...

It's a not a wide-spread fact yet...

But even wearing a mask, you do NOT want those fumes in your house (you could breathe em in later)

Yeah thats why u do it outside with a respirator or just use normal hot water like i would have suggested. Anyway do your thing im not interested as your always on the offensive when i say anything and thats not fun for me sorry.

Here is a quick shot of my Hoth Han Solo. I just started on him today. Bespin han head dremmeled into a Hasbro hat which I cut up. The Bespin Han head isnt that bad really when most of it is not seen.

I then cut most of the fur off the edge of the hood. I am in the process of working on the sleeves and hands. Not even close to being done obviously, but I know how you guys like WIP pictures even though mine are not the best.

more pictures to follow. You guys got any ideas on doing goggles?? That might be the toughest part I think.

Looking great love it. Maybe some dragon goggles will do.
