i just bought a learning kit from the hobby store for making outdoor dioramas. its basically for railroad scenes but I think it will be a good learning experience for SW dioramas and stuff. this kit features pouring rock molds. should be a fun weekend project.

Hello chaps just pooped in for coffee and a gas!

I have been looking through the threads on the SW stuff and mmaking note of the custom stuff that I thought would be great to move across to this subsection.

So hopefully in a few days they will start to imerge and rekindle the passion that we all have for kitbashing, customizing, diorama making and general banter.

Enjoying my latte at Uncle Chewies Chop Shop.

Now where is me custard cream and chainsaw

Im still mucking about with me new camera, just found the macro close up piccie jobbie, thats cool. Gonna have to play around with all these different mood and lighting functions, and shutter speeds. The manual is quite big so it will take a while :lol 1 problem i have is some pics i cant seem to post on here cos they stay stuck sideways even though i rotate them both via the software and in photobucket:monkey2

Cool, if can help out in any way let me know. Have you got any image manipulation software, that will allow u to rotate your pics. and I am pretty sure that there will be some software with the camera that u can install.

Right off to bed, chuffin migraine and can't concentrate.

Speak tomorrow

Yep! Early night for me too!

Or should I just pop on eBay and order another three True Type Slims... Ooh they have some True Type females as well, that Gold Bikini was laying around here somewhere, and that Leia Boush headsculpt...Hmmmmm.....

to be continued

Someone used pastels n posted on a thread, but my memory is poo so i cant remember who or where. If u can find it (i have been looking) shoot em a PM.

Have any of you lads used pastels for weathering? Do you then need to spray it right after with a sealer?

I have, it works great. On most of my face re-paints I used pastels for the eyes and skin tones and then hit it with a dullcoat sealer.

I also use it on my droids, brush the stuff in the cracks and then seal it. Looks great in my opinion.
