Wasn't this show suppose to be a single season?

I can't sit through another season of this. I only invested this much time because I thought there would be an end.

I liked the book...but I find myself finding it hard to pay attention to his show.

I thought it was laughable how the meningitis outbreak seemed to only last a few hours. It was a threat but not really. :lol

That was the last episode I watched. Nice how quickly that was resolved. :lol

I've not read the book, but this show suffers from the same problem that I've seen in most King adaptations, the characters are incredibly one-dimensional. The behave exactly they way you expect them to so that it feels like you're five steps ahead of the plot.

It got higher than expected ratings which is why it was renewed. I've never been so pissed for a show getting renewed.

I don't care whether they live or die, just give me an end.

The ONLY reason I was watching this was because I was under the impression it was one season only.

The show is too weak in all aspects, I'm just not going t bother with it anymore. I'll just look on-line to find out what the conclusion is.

That's not a forehead, it a five head!:thud:

Honestly, I can't take this show anymore. I told my wife on Monday that I think I'm done. Aside from the terrible storylines, the acting is absolutely brutal!

I like the show and glad it's getting a second season. It's better than most shows people probably enjoy IMO. I don't expect it will make it past a second season.

I finally gave up tonight. Turned it on, made it through the first couple of minutes and realized I just didn't give a **** anymore and flipped it off.

I missed the beginning and watched about a 1/2 hour of the middle of it and when Big Jim looked directly in the camera and said, "Damn you, Barby", I laughed and turned it off.

I'm done.

Hey Batty, tell me the end please! :lol

That guy is such a bad actor! :lol

From what some of the commentators on their Facebook page have said, I guess they're going to divert completely from the book and stretch this out as far as they can. The only thing that will be the same is the characters names.

I caught hell from a couple of fangirls for giving my opinion. It was too funny. And I guess there's still several more episodes this year and next season there will be 13.

I guess CBS is trying to find their LOST. If they keep killing people off, there won't be anyone left!

Blah.

I figured they'd have to go away from the book after announcing a second season. I read up on the book and there was no way you could do more than a 1 season show out of it. I'm enjoying the show but it doesn't have very strong legs to go all that far.

Reading the book now, and while I shouldn't be surprised, I am still amazed how different the show has been - its ok, nothing to write home about. Book is a lot better, imo
