Underrated Horror Films?

I am usually pretty respectful of people's opinions but zomg that movie was so terrible.

But I will admit I want to check out the 3rd cause it looks brutal.

You dont like wrong turn, but you want to see wrong turn 3...beleive me thats the biggest pile of poo out of the series. I actually liked the first one a lot.

If taking into account when it was made, absolutely. It's a great film.

Mainly because most of the time, the people being tortured look like Gap models and/or CW cast rejects. Seeing them get offed gives me a perverse satisfaction

For the record, NONE of the torture films discussed recently in this thread have anyone remotely resembling that description in them.

I would argue that the guy with the black hair from Hostel 1 had a CW cast feel and some of the chicks from Hostel 2 looked like GAP models.

That was mentioned briefly though, and while I agree, the topics have been on Begotten, August Underground - almost too much - and Flowers. None of which have any cast members remotely fitting that description.

Yea I suppose more mainstream torture porn is going to have more "beautiful" people.

I agree...the girl in Flowers is kinda cute...before she gets dismemebered, but really not Gap model material. Yeah i want to know some more movies that are underated so that I maybe can add something to my watch list. So far seen pretty much everything mentioned. I did add book of blood though.

Did you see Hatchet? Classic Kane Hodder. The behind-the-scenes had me in stitches. "The thing about Kane is... he never stops!"

He's already seen those. Hence the Outpost suggestion. I'm guessing Armored's a lot like myself who's more than happy to raid Blockbuster on the 5 for $20 days in search of good unseen/under the radar horror.

Yep, seen Outpost. I really liked it. Ever seen the Bunker it was very similar to Outpost. I dont have Outpost though, I d like to add that to the collection. I gotta hit up blockbuster to get on that deal. I love cheap horror man.
