I saw it last night. Its worth seeing....just don't expect Citizen Kane and you'll be fine.

It's a cool concept on paper... but the movie it self is crap.
Everything is written so poorly... as if they were tryin' very hard to make it bad.
Also not a "Tom Cruise movie". There's little action and it's meh.
Plus Cruise is too old for his character.

Like the mandrell apes with the blue faces and red butts. Or maybe it's the other way around. Anyway you posture with your colorful butt and it means you are the alpha monkey i guess if yours is the best butt.

I've heard enough - pass. Which sucks coz this was on the to-see in theater list. The Mummy looks cool, but catch it when it's fast-tracked to cable.
Universal's Dark Universe is a joke.

Honestly, I didn't think the movie was the worst thing I've ever seen. I watch tons of movies though. It's absolutely not any worse than the last two (and next) Transformer movies were (will be.) Really, although I feel like they are sitting on some money making properties with the Universal Monsters, I don't know, and I feel like Universal doesn't know how to approach it.
My thought was, why not just bring each of the original films back for a new release in the theaters? I would love to see ALL the Frankenstein films, Drac, Wolfman et al. in their original glory on the big screen! It requires probably a minimal investment from Universal, gets the younger crowd schooled on the origins of the horror genre and will without a doubt make some money without having to worry about covering a 200 million budget.

Saw this yesterday. I don't see what everyone is hating on at all. I really enjoyed it. Although ts pretty much a remake of Tobe Hooper's LIFEFORCE, with a mummy instead of a space vampire. (And no boobs��

Still want to see this wish I could of gone Thursday but I think it's a safe bet to wait for blu-ray even if it's as bad as most are saying. It's pretty disappointing if this is the start to universals universe. Hopefully they still continue and make Bride for 2019.

Funny stuff is the only entertainment.

That was exactly what I thought. His character was a bit awkward to watch at points because of that; especially when he's looking up the main female lead's shirt or when he's getting tickled by the Mummy.
