How about Wolf ?. You can't get scary than that. :lol:lol

I actually dug Wolf.

AWIL is the best, hands down. But I do love me some Bad Moon, Dog Soilders, and Ginger Snaps. As well as the original Wolfman, which goes without saying.

If you took out the gore, the movie would've just flat out sucked. The gore and violence was the absolute best thing about the movie.

I loved every kill. Great effects. Really made the Wolfman a great villian. A "hard PG-13" (which is an oxymoron anyway) would not have done anything but made it worse. Horror films today must be R, UNLESS the subject doesnt require violence. The only reason for the R, is to get to that level of darkness.

It doesnt have to be violent. Look at Shutter Island. Not very violent, but oh so very very very dark. Dark is good. You cant get that dark with PG-13.

GORE AND VIOLENCE...GORE AND VIOLENCE!
:stake

My love for you is like a truck, BERSERKER!
Would you like some making f#@k, BERSERKER!!!

AWIL is the best, hands down.

Still the KING!

I raised hell when this movie wasn't shown in my local theater (small NE Arkansas town) but I opened the local paper today and there it was! I know where I'll be tonight (and maybe the next night and the next and...) :naughty

Sheesh! I've got to get a life! :lol

Ihave seen the Beast, and it is good...that being said, allow me to share a few thoughts. All in all, I enjoyed it. Technically, the film is outstanding. The make-up and effects are state of the art, and excellent(as one expects from Rick Baker). The score was surprisingly good; I didn't know Danny Elfman had it in him. The story and characters were compelling enough to keep the audience focused, in spite of a few technical problems. I particularly enjoyed the "twist". To those who feel that it was "light" on the story, I point out that we're not talking Shakespeare or Tolstoy here;it's a flippin' werewolf movie. While I won't knock AWIL out of the #1 spot yet, I call this a successful presentation in that it delivered on what it promised; no more, no less...PS

With all due respect, those are only your opinions, and I pretty much disagree with everything you just said.

That's fine. I just thought the film was terrible. So utterly terrible. It almost achieved greatness...but then shot back down to suck.

But the violence made the movie watchable. Without it....blah. Just blah.

And Nam (I know the post is a hundred years old) but your mama thought I had enough hair on my balls. :monkey1

She only told you that because she wants you to quit shaving it off and mailing it to her. Restraining orders are getting expensive nowadays. ;)
