It's ok to be pissed about what happened, it's another thing to resort to slander and pour fuel on the fire here in my thread.

How's that for coming from a "coward". I bled for this country, I served during wartime for four years. Cowards don't do that. Cowards don't come back from the Hell I've decended into these past few years to jump back in the fire and meet their commitments. Cowards run. I'm not running. I'm right here.

Right, some newb that joined this year is hardly in any position to appeal for understanding and tolerance. Josh's artistic talent has never been in question, but how many chances/excuses do you allow someone to make.

As I stated before, after I had enough; I just wanted my unfinished figures back. I asked - actually had to plead to get his attention - just to send me what he had and I would pay the shipping. He told me no, that he would just spend the money on something else, like bills/etc. So ... where did that leave me? Understanding ...

The problem with coming in this year and posting is you really don't know what you're talking about. It doesn't matter how long you've been "in the game." You haven't played at this table...period. We've been hearing for quite some time that "it's done and shipping out Tuesday" or whatever day and 5 months, 6 months, 2 years later, it still hasn't shipped. That's not even taking into account the many facebook posts saying (and I'm paraphrasing) "____ SSF, I'm never going back again!" making everybody worry about even getting what they ordered. So for all LOTRFan knows, this is one in a hundred of the repeated stall tactics posted over the years that keeps customers from getting the pieces they paid for years prior.

I agree with Nam. Unless you have business with Josh it is probably for the best that you not try and moderate/comment on circumstances you have no stakes in.

And Nam, I have said many times that I hate this board and will not return. But I never meant that I was leaving BEFORE I fulfilled my obligations.

And as for me saying that something was done and not shipping it, I never did anything like that maliciously. In most cases I held the item because someone had something else on order from me. Any other time I had to wait a week or two, or even longer was due to me being stupid and not setting a shipping fee to be charged upon completion. As a novice to this whole thing, I never knew I would be in a position where I was unable to pay for something as trivial as shipping... But once I had to ship items that were heavy or headed overseas, that changed.

And Matt, when I said that if you paid me then that money would just go to bills... I was being honest. I was flat broke. It was a dark time, no job, no more orders coming in, and my Wife and I filing bankruptcy. And before you make a snide comment about me, the bankruptcy was primarily because of my Wife's debt...not mine. If I had taken money, it would have just vanished in the massive negative balance that existed in my account at that time. Honesty is better than just lying and taking your money, I think that in and of itself is worth a little shred of respect.

And Nam... dude... I know we have had our issues... But I don't owe you a figure right now do I? Why are you here stirring the pot?? I'm not using stall tactics. Hence the huge amount of pics that I am posting EVERY SINGLE ____ING DAY.

Stop dogpiling on me and just let me get this done. I am not here to get sucked into the drama of the Freaks board, and I am not here to reopen old wounds. I am here to FIX THIS PROBLEM, once and for all. So give me a chance to do so. I'm out of work, and tight on money, but at least I am man enough to come here and devote my time to working on the backlog. I am home taking care of my infant son, so my time is pretty damn scarce. At least I am putting it to good use..

And as the pics have PROVEN... work is getting done. No stalling, no bull____, no "hoping" to get things done soon... ACTUAL work being done. So let the past die and just let me do my damn job.

I have kept every PM, email, etc you have sent me and you have at one point said that the Joker figure was 90% done, which based on your latest progress pics was obviously not true. Truth is, I actually defended you at one point; and then you stopped coming by (again), and well, I have been waiting for over 3 years --- for action figures. That is what it all boils down to, it is really just comical when you think about it. It certainly isn't about the money for me, I couldn't care less, it is about a commitment, and one I was determined to make sure you would follow through on. I will certainly leave you alone from this point forward - well when I actually GET the figure - trust me, there won't be any more commissions, hah! Josh, you said in 2009 that Rorschach was done (which galactiboy took off my hands) and that the Joker was 90% complete -- you are hardly in a place to tell me what I can and can't say.

I will NOT take away from your service to this country, and I genuinely respect you for that; there is nothing but respect from me there. However, your actions outside of that, in direction relation to this fubar'ed situation you are in with a huge number of members here has at times been filled with cowardice. If not cowardice, definitely ignorance and insensitivity, even your latest attempt to gather funds revealed you as naive.

Either way, it doesn't matter in the end; you will have your reasons/justifications and the best thing to happen will be to just move on.

Matt... I know I have said that things were 90% done before. And in truth a lot of the time I DID have stuff ready to go. But sadly, due to threats and me just not realizing that I had orders before yours or other people's... I had to ship out items to other people.

In regards to what you call cowardice. Dude. You don't know me. You may think you do, but you don't. For one, as I have stated ad nauseum I never got into this as a business... and I really screwed the pooch once things got big. I didn't know how to keep proper records, I never kept a list that wasn't hand written. If anything, you can call me naive... I accept that. It's true, I had no idea what I was getting into and ____ed it up really really bad.

These past few years have been TERRIBLE. And you guys only know about half of it. At one point we had to move in with my Wife's Mom because things were so bad. Then the medical issues, and death, and birth... It got scary. And I got wrapped up in it. I fell into depression, and coming here to freaks only to be beaten down with negative comments, and people believing that I was "making it all up" was really too much to handle.. So I stayed away. I waited until I could pick myself back up and be the man I needed to be to finish this work. It wasn't cowardice, it wasn't ignorance or insensitivity... it was pain..pure and simple.

As for my offer, I understand why people are upset... I was just offering things that I painted while I painted other items for people... it was to ensure things went smoothly. It was a dumb idea, but it was meant to help move things along. I didn't use any time that wasn't being spent painting other heads. I just used the same paint I was using to paint skin, hair, eyes for other heads.

Whatever, I will let it go... Your stuff will go out tomorrow. I'm boxing it up tonight.

Wasn't meant to be a slam, just a reality check for a trolling newb who is clueless as to what went on. Whether or not your intentions were good, and I believe they were, it doesn't change what happened. You also have to give people the benefit of the doubt because you've said all this before, and even shown progress pics as well so you gotta be a bit more understanding if they're still skeptical. As for what you owe me, well, that's debatable. I got a small cardboard box with about $30 worth of garbage from Carl that was missing about $140 worth of artistry.

All I do know is that he is trying and to be treated like he isn't when to me, it's pretty obvious that he's working his ass off is not right. ok, I can understand that. Rogster was just trying to help, but I can see your point. He didn't see the full extent of what went down. But he was seeing things from a more recent angle, and I thank him greatly for attempting to defend me..even if it went bad.

And Nam, dude.... once things get a bit more sane... if you ever want to send that box of garbage to be brought to it's full value, I will do it without question.

No problem man, I really do appreciate the support. I don't get much of that anymore.

I've just learned to let it go, as I know it will follow me for as long as I remain on this site. Things got really bad, a lot of people lost out on work... and lost money. I have been beating myself up over it for years, so whatever they can do to me will never hurt. Not anymore.

Everything is cool, just know that it means a lot to read a post from someone who can see what I am trying to do. And I will have MANY more pics for you in the coming weeks.
