Re: Gipetto's Workshop-(Re)Sculpts & Paint Jobs

I think I know what you're talking about. After you resize the picture in photobucket (or do any editing in photobucket for that matter) just refresh the page where you posted it and you will see the correct size - which is what we will all be seeing.

I do it all the time. Never have to log out etc.

ooooh ok! man I made it so much more difficult :lol :slap

It sounds like you might be even more OCD than me!

:lol
:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

Weird.

I only worry about pics being the same size when it's my own pics and I want a certain artistic continuity. For something like this...

...well that's just straight ocd. :lol

:1-1:

haha well that was before I tried the refresh thing. it worked now, they're all the same size :yess:

Re: Gipetto's Workshop-(Re)Sculpts & Paint Jobs

Hey guys just thought I'd give y'all a heads up on the next sculpt I plan on doing (if I can manage to get so more sculpting clay soon).

No plans on making a full on custom figure, just trying to get better at sculpting

I hope everyone is doing well!

Re: Gipetto's Workshop-(Re)Sculpts & Paint Jobs

Cool! :rock

I'm actually surprised no one has made a figure of this guy yet.

Re: Gipetto's Workshop-(Re)Sculpts & Paint Jobs

Yea I'm excited about starting it b/c all the guys in the SW Customs forum have only done all the clothing but just use the HT prison break head so I figured I'd go and help them out and make a sculpt. Then just send it to someone to cast them all

Re: Gipetto's Workshop-(Re)Sculpts & Paint Jobs

Great stuff Gipetto.
Thanks buddy!
Gipetto You are the man cant wait to see how your Starkiller tuns out.

Thanks Andre! means a lot man! I've got the FIMO but I have loads of hwk to do so probably won't be able to get started on Starkiller tonight. probably tomorrow or Friday.

Re: Gipetto's Workshop-(Re)Sculpts & Paint Jobs

Hey guys, Here's some progress on Starkiller.

And yes, trust me, it still needs lots of work. But, the nose is looking a bit big and bulbousy, but in hand it's not. I think it's the lighting with the bright color of the clay. also, it's 4am right now so hopefully I can get some better pics when it's daylight, b/c the harsh light from my lamp is not flattering to this sculpt at all. I'm just excited to show ya'll what I've got so far

THe idea was just to get the face down, no shape to the head or ears or hair. I always try to nail face first then work on everything else afterward. the face still needs some fine tuning, but I've done enough to get started on the rest of the head then come back to the face. but here's what I've got so far. Enjoy :)

Glad you like it Remy! :)

And yes, I'm going to try to, or work something out with the folks in the Custom SW forum

here's the thread with details in it:

https://www.sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=91161

Once I get the first sculpt done (there are going to be 2: this one and a screaming/yelling one), I'm going to start the list of interested ppl and also hunt down a caster, though I do have one in mind, just have to see if he wants to do the job. I'm trying not to make it too complicated for myself nor the folks involved mostly b/c I still have a whole half a semester left and just want to make this a fun project rather than an undertaking

Re: Gipetto's Workshop-(Re)Sculpts & Paint Jobs

Very happy you're doing this man. It looks great so far!!!
I love my kitbash of this guy except for one thing...like you mentioned, I'm stuck using the prison break guy like the other kitbashers ha ha.

Very much looking forward to the finished piece of this :)

Re: Gipetto's Workshop-(Re)Sculpts & Paint Jobs

Love the facial expression. With a good eyes paint, we can have a good mix between anger and determination.

Re: Gipetto's Workshop-(Re)Sculpts & Paint Jobs

Finally Finished!!! I hope you guys like it! Most of the ones you'll see after the jump to the link are from the front but in different light. My digicam is completely dead :( all I have is my phone and it doesn't pick up the hair detail too well so I hope the front is enough for now. I wish you guys could see it in hand as these crappy phone pics really don't do it just and I'm not being biased eaither :wink1::monkey3 thank you for being patient!:hi5:

Wow!!! You nailed it man. Seriously man, give yourself a huge pat on the back, that is Starkiller right there!!!
Since you mentioned you're looking for a caster, you might wanna contact CREG who is casting Adam's Bruce Wayne sculpt. Maybe he can do it or point you in the right direction.
Very impressive bro. :clap
Let me know the price man once you have that narrowed down.
