I found this picture of the body on another forum that had linked this picture from the ACToys.net web site (sorry, but there was no name attached to it for photo credit)

Rock83 ! Too bad you did not tell me you where going to get it or else we could have split the postage and (Customs fee)...

By the way Rock, where are you getting this from ?

The neck joint is different to the DX. Why the ____ do Hot Toys have to make getting a spare body so difficult

Why would his body during everyday life (or a mag photoshoot) be covered in sweat under a shirt? ....I guess its hot in Hong Kong :D

Hey SAB, I can tell you that it is really hot and humid in Hong Kong - and it is very easy to get a little sweaty under the shirt while spending time in HK. Though every store, 7/11, etc. has their air condition on high speed - even the taxis and busses has it - so it is easy to cool off during the day. So just by walking up and down the main street Nathan Road - you are guaranteed to get your t-shirt wet under your arms, on the back and in front (but it is not like bad smelling sweat - so you do not get the wrong impression here... hehe...).

I did wear a suit with shirt and tie and did some kicking picture like Bruce on the Ocean Terminal car park next to the Hong Kong harbour - and damn, my shirt was soaked in sweat when I was finished, so I had to take it off... Hehe... (the pictures came out pretty good though... Hehe...)

By the way, Bruce had his armpit sweat glands in his armpit surgery removed (I am not 100% sure the date, but I think it was in his adult life when he moved back to HK, maybe 1972....) - so he did not have to worry about breaking out into a really bad sweat under his arm.

That's why it's called an exclusive, kinda protecting those who got the first body.
Easy mod though, just remove the neck ball joint i would think, never tried but can it be that hard?

For real? :horror Wow, where did you learn this? Nice! Did they say why did he removed it? :dunno

Really? Is that even possible?

....People who have the SS Ex Version please stop being delusional while trying to convince yourselves that your "exclusive" is really an "exclusive/something special or rare".

That is the exact same body, may not have the sweat paint and includes a neck joint, but as far as muscle definition goes it certainly looks the same to me in comparison to the ETD....May just look relaxed now because no one is posing it in a way that is giving off a more 'ripped/muscle' flexing look......

....And if it isn't the exact same as the EX, I'm still happy because it looks great regardless

This sounds really unhealthy.

Why do you hope that? Surely not because you got the EX and want to feel 'special' right? If so, please keep in mind that you got a body for $20. I hope they add extra sweat to this.

Chill! I hope so because these are "casual" Bruces and I don't want him to be sweating when he's supposed to be relaxed. It would be weird to see the exposed part of his chest being all shiny with sweat.

I mean, it doesn't make sense for him to be sweating all of the time... so why make all of the bodies that way?

But it's such a small detail, I didn't think people would get upset for it, just thought it would be nice if HT paid attention to it is all.

Hey Jayveeeusebio, I do not have the full details as to why he did this surgery, but I can try to find out.

Good questions...

I wish I could give good answer, but I am afrraid these are medical questions that I do not know much about nor how to give a good answer to....

I see now that the hand set, clothing, beach chair, muscular body and smiling face head sculpt for this figurine release have already turned up "in stock" on eBay. As I am not so familiar with the figure collecting business I was wondering if you guys know is these are bootleg stuff turning up ?

I think they're probably the real thing. Usually as soon as a figure is released you start to see the bits parted out by certain sellers. They look legit to me.
Hope this helps. :)

Bootlegs for 1/6 are obvious... making bootlegs of the quality shown in these pics would not be cost-effective.

They're definitely real, gung :)

I'm pretty sure the 'sweat glands removed' story about Bruce is a myth and not true.

I've heard it before but removing sweat gland isn't a simple surgery and not recommended in 2011, I'd be surprised if someone had it done in 1972 !
