Oh no......

Hey did you post pics of your GOD suit yet? I would love to see the back of it... no pics or ebayers show the zipper...

Also, do you tuck your colar in? Looks like in the Ebay pics they do a bit... looks pretty good... I'm wondering though about it's material, are the lines that noticable? or is that a macro shot?

*poor guy has no time and I'm asking him yet again for more pics and time.... sorry man... send me on an arrand some time eh...

:lol I'll see how today pans out!

Here are some shots Sixth, I think they are pretty faithful to how I see Bruce on the shelf. Note that I've had this custom suit on the BL3.5 body since Saturday and it has taken less than three days to stain the forearms! Now Nam and others say that the custom suits don't stain like the genuine article, but the one I've got is definitely staining the body. Perhaps the suit wouldn't stain a different body - I have heard that the EB bodies are especially susceptible to staining.

But my HT BD body also picked up a small rub stain from the belt, so I'm not game to put this custom suit anywhere near the non-BD body until I give the fabric a good soak in vinegar/water.

Thanks lejuan (is that like loo wan?) - bummer on the stains... Black stains to boot! man I wonder if soaking these in water for a couple days would help... The zipper is not bad at all, suit would probably fit nicer on the DX but I can't imagine you'll dare...

Lejuan I owe you some macro shots... maybe when my WOD suit arrives? oh yes... cuz in the country YEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Looks weird seeing a FoF head on a GoD Bruce. At least the EtD head is of the same time period.

Any thoughts on potential for casual Bruce's dark blue/black 70s shirt to stain the body ?

While it has the potential, there'd be nothing you can do about it in any case. It will have been in the box and stained by the time you get it.

I keep telling myself that I can only have 1x smiling face Bruce Lee, picked the suit version, BUT it's hard to resist this one given my positive experience with the DX EX BL.

I think the one in theclipperkings video is the one. Looks good to me, but the staining is an issue. Might still get it, I was probably gonna pose him with the top down anyways. Can't wait to get this figure.....should get it early next week :yess:

Nam posted one someplace, not sure if it was this thread or the ETD thread :dunno

It's in the EtD thread but at 400 pages, I'm not gonna go looking. :lol

Bummer about the suit. It looks almost exactly like the one I have but those sleeves look way shorter (are you sure that's not the Enterbay suit?) I just checked my Lee for probably the 20th time and still no staining. Might want to try giving it a cold vinegar bath and seeing if that sets the color. Given it's already stained, you can retry it on the EB body to see if that works for ya.

The Enterbay jumpsuit's zipper slider is much smaller and like the one in the back of the DX Black Stealth suit and not shaped like the custom one which looks like a 1/6th fashion ear-ring

Also staining once doesnt mean it wont stain again... the clothes continue to stain for a long time... and it becomes worse... also as I said before I think the EB body has a hand in the staining so Id say try the washing thing than again trying to experiment it on any other body...

Missed my point here. I recommended seeing if the suit still stains after washing by trying it on the Enterbay body again. Given that body's already stained, staining it again shouldn't matter.

Yep, that's what I'll do - I'll use EB's body as a guinea pig for the superior and far more awesome HT body. Holy hell, that BL cost a bit of money when I picked it up about a year or so ago, and now it's best use is as a canary-down-the-mineshaft for the HT article :lol

Did the same thing with a Barney body to get to the bottom of the loose left shoulder. Was able to fix it though. :D If you can find a good paint-matching painter, you can probably salvage the body for relatively cheap.
