I want to be clear... I am "pleading no contest" to the Utapau trooper. If other EP3 troopers are released using this exact same sculpt it will be time to throw down again, and then some.

Sideshow claims that the this the way the helmet is supposed to look like. But they also claim that regular Han is supposed to come with the cantina blaster.

Hmm...I think I'll just pretend that this Utapau trooper came from the EU and he was led by another Clone Commander that prefered a slightly diff helmet design, if not they would be kicked out of the platoon.

I've seen the photos that the artists used and it looks the same. I don't know what to tell you people about the helmet. We have a picture of the trooper by itself, we made it exactly like the piture sent it in to LFL and it was approved. That's it no big conspiracy or anything.

Can you post the pictures used as reference?

Because all evidence is to the contrary. Seriously there was no variation in the base clone helmet. They used the same CG model over and over.

But how could you know... it looks as if you haven't been long enough around to know. Like I said earlier... it's the SSC apologists that cause the real headache around here. If you are happy believing everything SSC tells you, ok, that's fine. Just accept that some don't. Apparently you like the helmet. That's great!

Ok so ours has the little silver thing in the middle i'll give you that, but i keep hearing how off it is and if that's it then yes you're all nitpicking just a tad.

It's not just that. The shape of the overall "chin" area (including the "pinch" bellow the mouth as well as the areas below the aerators) is clearly off and different than the clones in the movie/pics... and the sizes/shape of the aerators and vocoder are different as well.

If someone took the time to do a pic-to-pic comparison it would be obvious, trust me. Heck... just have someone there take one of the Kotobukiya EP3 Clone kits (I'm sure there is just one around) and compare it to your sculpt and you should see.

Now that is exactly what bugs me around here. Not one discussion can be made without someone getting personal, or name calling. As if that is going to give more weight to the argumentation. Argumentation? Wait! I just realize... what argumentation? I just remember that I got pestered for saying that the helmet was off... All this fuss over a TOY. You should learn to put things into perspective, or you'll die of a heart attack or a seizure or something!
