If it was one figure, probably not, but it's going to be every clone.

Or, if they choose not to change this one, but change the others, this sole version will be different from the rest.

Not really a minor issue.

Exactly. Though, honestly, I can live with this ONE clone having an inaccurate helmet as long as they fix it going-forward. A whole line of clones with bad helmets would be an unnecessary and frustrating shame.

:lol It's not a small detail.

I'm only going off what was pointed out many posts back. The black part on the nose not joining up. I couldn't see anything else that was wrong. I'm also the first to admit I'm not the most observant person.

Don't get me wrong I'm not knocking people demanding SS fix it. Just to me it's a non issue.

I can live with all of them being screwed up because I decided that I'm sticking to just the commanders, and those helmets are busy enough that I'm not going to care. Still, there is a lot to be said for consistency.

Oh, it's much more than that. The lower part of the visor is entirely too thin, and the chin area and aerators are quite inaccurate. And, again, this is made worse by the fact that every other licensee (even Hasbro in their 3.75" figures) got it correct except for Sideshow.

Actually this was address by a Sideshow employee and it was stated that there is not any inaccuracy in the helmet. I've seen some comparisons with other statues - what about screen caps?

I posted a hi-res screen cap on the previous page. Give me time stamps from the movie and I can post more.

I feel the same. Sure there is a slight difference, but seriously people are willing to cancel over this small detail?

If it were the wrong shaped nose on Obi or any human character, you would be having a fit. Yet the nose of the helmet is off and you don't care? Hypocritical much?

This is how the helmet should look like.

If you're referring to what was posted here, yes. Don't remember who it was (SideshowQ?), but he said that it matched the source material. Then after the literal bombardment with member provided source material, he agreed that he could see the small difference with between the respirator on the Utapau and the other buckets. I'm wondering if any measures were taken after his acknowledgment of the difference. Hence my inquiry about someone posting this in the "Ask Sideshow" section.

I'm not being Not hypocritical at all. Like I said I'm the first to admit I'm not the most observant person in the world. It has to be something pretty obvious for me to notice. I just didn't see/notice the incorrectness.

For example I can't tell the difference in Vader’s costume through the different movies. They all look the same to me.

Sure if something obvious happened like the gave Han black hair then I would notice.

I'm not complaining about the complainers. I was just saying I didn't see it until it was pointed out. If Ii was never pointed out I would of never noticed.

Didn't the guy from SSC acknowledge the innaccurracies people pointed out in here, said "it's a prototype", but also suggested maybe not being so picky about things? I don't recall and SSC rep denying the things pointed out in here.:confused::confused:

So they know it's wrong but are not going to do anything about it?

I think Dave was referring to Shatterer of Dreams' initial comments in this thread that were BEFORE we pointed out the inaccuracies with some detailed photo-comparisons. SOD then acknowledged that we were correct and it was indeed inaccurate and pointed out that it was just an early prototype. Dave missed that part. :lol

The point is, there is no need to keep quiet about it until we confirm that Sideshow has indeed fixed it. Especially because it will affect much more than just this one figure.
