I think Dave was referring to Shatterer of Dreams' initial comments in this thread that were BEFORE we pointed out the inaccuracies with some detailed photo-comparisons. SOD then acknowledged that we were correct and it was indeed inaccurate and pointed out that it was just an early prototype. Dave missed that part.

The point is, there is no need to keep quiet about it until we confirm that Sideshow has indeed fixed it. Especially because it will affect much more than just this one figure.

Actually, considering that an SSC rep came in here and discussed it, the point's been brought to their attention, they know this is the thread to discuss it, and if something is done, I'm sure it will be addressed here.

Yes, and we can always monitor and discuss the situation amongst ourselves here. And should Sideshow address it on their site, in a newsletter, or even hidden in the production blog you can bet someone will share the news here in the thread.

Yup, most of the time, the ASK SIDESHOW section is an excercise in futility, but when things like the helmet come up, SSC reps still seem to pop up in the product's thread. When/if Dusty returns to regular presense around here, I'm sure we'll be in the loop more again, she's great for that.

Dunno. The Patient X/Patient Zero question got answered relatively fast. So it wouldn't hurt. And if I was a Sideshow rep, with all the hate thrown around in the past 80 or so pages, I'd rather post there than here too.
