I agree with that. Its like turning the dial on the radio. Most of it is crap and you have to really tune in to anything worthwhile.

Only to discover what you thought was something you liked was, in reality, the ominous "boom-boom-boom-boom" polka-ish trumpets of mariachi music.

Seriously - anyone who makes this board unpleasant to visit is likely to get banned, whether they are continually negative about Sideshow product or if they're defensive about it.

However I would agree that continual harping on a single issue isn't productive. Those that feel strongly about the helmet - maybe post some photo comparisons with a diagram of exactly what changes you feel need to be made?

I know there are some photos back in this thread - but it does seem there are some differences between screen caps from the movie and stills used for publicity. Has anyone done that analysis?

If the helmet is indeed wrong, explorations of what might have contributed to that - the people at SSC are smart and contrary to a lot of opinion, so are the LFL guys - let's posit some opinions about why the differences.

See, there are a lot of directions this thread could take - but constant bickering isn't one of them. If we have to, we'll just close it down and wait for either new photos or the item to start shipping.

Few pages back some folks had stated that they are cancelling. Maybe they were being flip.
Not sure about the "investment" part. Sandy does seem to be a great favorite though. Medi did well with him AND some poor bastards who didnt pick theirs up from SDCC '07 got theirs QUICKLY sold at the close of the show.

Didn't mean "cash-wise". I think Sandy will be more popular in the longrun and thus harder to find cheap.

I foresee plenty of Utapau around, especially when Cody's announced.

If SS does Cody to go along with the Utapaus, I think folks are gonna go ape-shiet over army building!
Gotta admit though, didnt think I was as into the Sand troopers till I actually saw it on SSs PPO!

On Topic: I hope they tighten the armor JUUUST a bit and maybe do something about the "chuck tailor" look at the ankles. Utie will be awesome then (outside of the obvious revision that shall not be named!!!)

With General Kenobi already done, should they make a Commander Cody (which should be a no brainer but that's not exactly a guarantee with SS ), you can expect these guys to go fast, if not already sold out by his announcement.

Yeah my wallet & CC are very tight. So I had to make an executive decision.
