My Vader is due to arrive tomorrow and we are supposed to get 4-6 inches of snow tonight into tomorrow in the Washington DC area!

Hey Kit, same situation here in Jersey. Last week FedEx was early around 10:00 am, hope the same thing this time.

I'm glad there haven't been any base problems with the 2nd wave. That gives me confidence that my new one will be in mint condition.

Actually mine was from the first wave....it just decided to to take a tour around the country before coming home.

I just got my shipping notification, both Vader Exclusive and X-men vs. Sentinel Exclusive are on their way. Now I just need to get home from school before my parents do, or else they'll have a heart-attack

Cool, not too far away. I get up that way once in a while. My company has an office there. I need to take my fiance to the inner harbor this summer too.

I checked my tracking numbers early this morning. It showed the Red Baron in Harrisburg PA. but Vader was still in CA. I just checked it again and it shows them both on the truck for delivery TODAY!!!!!! "This will be a weekend long remembered." "It will see the arrival of Vader, and the beginning of TOY FAIR!!!"

I hear ya 88th! First, my Code3 Vader TIE Fighter arrived a few days ago, and the SS "definitive" Vader landed last night (excuse the crappy pics):

No base issues. Mine is pristine! Damn this is an amazing piece! Now, all we need is Ben and the circle will be complete.

MR Great collection!! I like the way you put the 1/4 scales above the matching vehicles and weapons! A truly awsome Star Wars display!!!
Hopefully My Vader will be here shortly. It's 10:58 am. Fed Ex gets here around this time. OHHHH the agony!!!!!!!!!

"He is here" I just finished opening Darth Vader. I know some of you are not happy with this figure, but I am amazed with it! I'm so glad I went on the wait list for this way back in July of last year. And it was worth the wait. Excellent job Sideshow!! I can't wait to see what's coming from toy fair!

Seriously, they do great work. I haven't ordered anything from them myself yet, but I'm impressed.

On another note, Mini I noticed that you got rid of a bunch of your stuff. Are you going in a new direction with your collecting?

Congrats 88th! Again, I couldn't agree more. It was totally worth the wait.

Robo, I get my cases from Cases for Collectibles. The case size for my Vader is 18x18x24.

Which reminds me, thank you, Dave, for the case dimensions. It turned out to be the perfect size for Vader.

You're right el, I am taking a new direction with my collection. From the pics, I'm sure you can see what I am going for, although I'm sure there will be some exceptions here and there. This was what I had set out to do when I first started getting into high-end items, but lost my focus along the way. I still have everything that you can see on my site, but all of it is on the other shelving, on the other wall, until I figure out what I want to do with it.

Mine arrived today, unfortunately I have to say that number 669 is awaiting an RMA. Not only did it have serious Vader base issues, the base for the droid and the droid itself had paint issues. Checked those things first and after that let down I didn't even completely release Vader from his containment. Just boxed it all back up and sent the RMA request to SS.

Very glad some folks are not having this same problem though.

That's a shame, oxbeard. Hope it works out OK for you.

Mine arrived today as well, and it is in perfect condition. There was a smudge of something on the base, but a little water and elbow grease took it right out. Even the red on the lights is better than most of the pictures I've seen. Not perfectly red, but not purplish pink, either.

Vader #416 is now accounted for!

Vader #0820 is present and accounted for. He looks awesome! Mini-Rock thanks for posting those case dimensions again, must have with this piece. The head is the perfect size no worries there. Mouse droid much too large and accounts for alot of the box weight. Thankfully he's in perfect scale to the other SW PFs.

Got mine Saturday and I love it. My one problem is the cape. Trying to get the chain to fasten to the hook seems near impossible w/o breaking it so I left it unattached to prevent myself from breaking it. It just seems too short unless you really pull hard on it which I think will end up breaking it.

Other than that I LOVE this piece!
