....let's face it, no one sells for what they paid or less, unless the market value went down of course. ...

I sold my Medicom ROTS Vader for $70 to a fellow board member. Thats well below retail and the going price. :lecture

i hate variants... especially when they are released right after you get the originals. which is exactly why i quit buying the master replicas lightsabers and such. look at them now... no more star wars license--suits them right. what really ticked me off was when SS started releasing the Spiderman PF variants.poop on them!!!

This is the way I see it.

Collectors are all OCD. You have got to have everything (I know there are exceptions to the rule, but I believe by and large this is the case).

If it looks like its next to impossible to get a complete line, many collectors will drop out.

I see where you are coming from, but your argument is flawed. PZ has been hard to get for a couple of years now. If the OCD folks were to drop the line, they would have done so right after Subject 5, which is where I believe PZ's value jumped. In any case, it has been known over the last few releases that PZ is a tough aquisition. If PZ has not already killed the line (which it obviously has not), it won't in the future either.

I don't know how flawed my argument is.... Every PPO since Subject 57 has been cake to get through. Plus all since 57 are easily found in the after market. Your "flaw" ;) is making an assumption that I was saying the line IS dieing... I am just saying it will die. :D

I did not make an assumption at all. I probably chose your incorrect post to quote though. I was commenting on the post you made which said that PZ will be the death of the dead. My point is that if it has not killed the line already, then it won't have any effect in the future.

I dunno. If I smoke, I may not have cancer now, but surely the cancer will come.

PZ is like cancer to this line.

I think that PZ is a different animal for completionists than most other lines.

For Star Wars if you can't get a Luke then dropping the line may make a bit of sense. But for generic zombies, not being able to get what amounts to just another zombie, isn't really the same.

That's exactly how I feel about it. They are just for fun. That's why I like them. They are so different from everything else that I have. Would I like a PZ? Sure! Would I pay $300 or more for one because I missed out? Not a chance in hell. I wouldn't however quit the line just because I don't have it.

Perhaps... except that PZ really sticks out from the other ones... not to mention that other zombie accessories come with his picture.. really he is the equivalent of Luke... He is the superstar of the line.... and he has the coolest accessory (chewed arm).

Just saying. :dunno

See I disagree. I think the Peril Zombie is far superior to PZ. I do however like the arm accessory.

That at least makes sense. :lol

If I drink I may not have liver damage. If I keep drinking I just might. :duff

You're just nervous because my niggling is nagging at the little voice in your head that tells you to stop collecting The Dead. :zombie <------ insert much needed zombie gif.
